Making Your Dog Happy, Saving Them From Pet Depression

There is a common thread between a dog owner and his/her dog. When there is an interruption in the happiness of the pet, the owner can usually tell something is wrong.
One of the most common impacts on a dog’s happiness is boredom.
Many owners love their pets but loose sight of the impact boredom can have on an otherwise healthy dog.

Whether the dog is a housedog or a yard dog is insignificant. Dogs are living, breathing beings with emotions not unlike our own.
Prior to domestication, dogs were wild, free roaming animals that were able to enact their rights for the pursuit of happiness. They could run as far as they liked, learn by investigating their world as it peaked their interest and find as much adventure as they pleased. Fast-forward to today’s world and you can see how that has changed.

These days, dogs are kept animals. Often confined to a home or yard for 23 hours of the day, adventure and exploration have been taken from their daily experiences as they can only be excited about a room or furniture arrangement for a limited amount of time. **End Summary** Topics: dog pet pet toys dog happy dog ownership pet owners
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple businesses and strategies.
Finding High Return Investments Before Others Do, Angel Investing

Everyone knows that investing in ventures that make one’s money grow is an excellent means of securing one’s future. What escapes many investors is the understanding that powerful opportunities exist online which have the ability to greatly increase returns. Many of which have the ability to greatly outperform investments touted by the big firms.
Knowing they exist but not knowing quite how to find them is the reason for much frustration for investors seeking such opportunities.
However today, it is easier than ever. When you know where to look.

In this Internet age, search engines have been tools utilized to locate all types of information. So I thought, why not use search engines to look for viable investment opportunities as well. I was really surprised at what I found in my exploration of this concept. Sure, I know readers of this article are thinking. The Internet has been used for investment information from the beginning. I know that.

On this journey, however, I avoided searching for the investing related terms millions of other investors search for. I essentially tried to get off of the beaten path. I avoided terms such as; **End Summary** Topics: invest investing investment stocks
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple businesses and strategies.
Gas Price Tips That Help

Heard the latest? Gas prices went up again. Yeah, I know. That was a poorly designed intro. With gas prices steadily on the rise, we all are feeling the pain.

One thing is for sure, the high prices that we are seeing now will be around for a while and although they may change, the change probably won’t be any good for our wallets.

So, where do we go from here? We know the usual tips for lowering the effect of this money drain such as driving less, keeping tires properly inflated, and driving at slower speeds. Those all work and provide a substantial benefit to the budget but they must be accompanied by additional measures to help the budget further.

1. Use tools like the Gas Money Toolbar or the TypoBounty.com toolbar at GasMoneyToolbar.com. This toolbar allows its users earn money online to pay for gas. Through the popular website TypoBounty.com, the toolbar really helps offset the costs.

2. Use websites like GasBuddy.com to find the lowest gas prices in your area.

3. If your vehicle can run on lower grades of fuel, use it. **End Summary** Topics: gas gas prices gas stations fuel economy
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business marketing experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple online businesses and strategies.
Maximizing Your Tiny Advertising Budget

When you first start your website, you have the hopes and dreams that once you build it, the flocks of web surfers will somehow come to it.

It’s not that simple, but there are a few steps that a tiny budget website can do to give itself the most powerful chance at growing fast and being a success.

Before we get into the moves you need to make, you must understand why you must make them.
Advertising is a fun thing to do when done correctly but can be a pain in the rump if approached incorrectly. Most people will tell you that their initial experience with advertising was a frustrating one but it doesn’t have to be that way. Advertising can be a rewarding and successful experience if one does not get dragged into the foolishness of following the crowd.

You see, in advertising, the only crowd that you should be interested in, is the crowd that can help you reach your goals. That would be the crowds of web surfers. If you follow the crowd of your competitors, you are playing right into the hands of the “foolishness” that I mentioned earlier. **End Summary** Topics: advertising subliminal marketing online advertising
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business marketing experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple online businesses and strategies.
Online Advertising, Making Customers Buy

If there is one thing that has become evident to both professional marketers and amateurs alike, it is that getting your message truly heard and comprehended by potential customers is essential to selling your products.
In fact, the term “advertise” means nothing without that distinction. However, many have allowed this all important word to lose its meaning in their own minds.

To some, the term “advertise” has some how become synonymous with “place a banner ad online”. This is one of the biggest mistakes any small are large organization can make, as it tends to lead to poor sales results and frustration. Why not skip all of that?

Look. You have to understand why many advertising campaigns fail in order not to fall into the same money drain trap. You should aim to benefit from every dollar you spend… Seriously. Lets look at it.

First: The Problem

As any true marketer will tell you, increasingly, banners go days and sometimes months without ever being clicked as more and more web surfers succumb to ad blindness. That’s why in the advertising world many settle for click through rates of less than 2 percent. **End Summary** Topics: advertising subliminal marketing online advertising
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business marketing experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple online businesses and strategies.
Advertising Online On A Cheese Burger Budget

I don’t intend to make this article a long one. It really doesn’t take long to express to you the reason why advertising doesn’t have to be the money drain that it has always been.
OK, lets get to work. Look. If you are a small player in the advertising game, you need to use your money wisely.

Face the fact that you can’t compete on the financial level of the larger organizations in the advertising game. Trying to do so will result in frustration and loss of good money that could be put to better use at this stage of the game.
I guess you may be wondering what I mean by small player and large player. Well let me see if I can add a little clarity. If you must watch your advertising budget closely to avoid cutting into your household budget, you are a small player when it comes to advertising. If the thought of spending 500 bucks to put your banner on a website, for a week or two, you are a small player.

There is nothing wrong with being a small player. **End Summary** Topics: Website Advertising Website Marketing Website Promotion cheap advertising free advertising website advertising internet advertising online adve
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business marketing experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple online businesses and strategies.
Website Advertising, Straight Talk On Making It Work

It’s time that someone does straight talk about making a website successful and I am going to try and to that today. Hold on to your socks and pay attention because if you get this you’ve got it.

OK, lets get started.
We all know about people out there claiming they can help make your website a success. There are the “marketing” experts that say you have to focus on keywords and optimize your website for those keywords. However, what they don’t say is that a half million people are using the same tactic for the same keyword and if you use that key word in search engine marketing campaigns, the price of getting noticed goes up substantially.
Now, I’m no math genius, but if a half million people are trying the same tactic for the same keyword, and only 10 listings can be at the top of a search engine listing, I estimate that there are going to be a lot of people left frustrated with the results of their hard work and marketing expenditures. Putting in money, time and work and getting very little benefit is difficult to swallow and discouraging. **End Summary** Topics: Website Advertising Website Marketing Website Promotion Search Engine Optimization
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business marketing experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple online businesses and strategies.
Surviving High Gas Prices With Two Online Tools

OK, we all know that to fill the family vehicle up with gas these days, one has to take into consideration the cost that will appear without mercy on the digital readout of the gas pump.

No matter how we whine and blame others for our dilemma, the fact is that the prices are what they are and we have to live life anyway. Sure, you can bury your head in the sand and pretend that it will work itself out but truthfully, these gas prices aren’t going anywhere but further up.

So, that being established and settled, one must honestly cultivate a plan to combat this unwelcome intrusion on the family budget. We have had enough bad news about how high these gas prices may go. Now, lets focus on what we can do about it.
There are the obvious things that people suggest like driving less, watching your speed and making schedules to ensure that you are able to complete tasks along an efficient route when you’re out and about. Of course, there are those that take the drastic actions of trading in their less fuel-efficient vehicle for a motorcycle or scooter. **End Summary** Topics: gas prices gas station oil prices miles per gallon hybrid
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business marketing experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple online businesses and strategies.
Alright, there are Power Ball players and then there are POWER BALL PLAYERS. Some Power Ball players spend a considerable amount of money making their picks. The hope is if you make more picks, you have a better chance at winning the big pay off.

Well, that is easier to say than it is to ignore the financial drain that happens as a result. Since, Power Ball is a numbers game players have developed their own strategies designed to give themselves the edge. While many of these strategies appear to have little more than sentimental value, others have a mathematical premise that can actually help in achieving the ultimate goal.

I think we can all agree that using your pets birthday or numbers that you heard on a TV show is a relatively nonscientific strategy that has the potential to waste a lot of time. However, increasing the number of picks that you make during a given period and randomizing the numbers picked can increase your chances of winning.

Now, I understand that playing more times equates to spending more money and I know that to many players of Power Ball, that is a problem. **End Summary** Topics: Advertising Marketing Banner advertising
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business marketing experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple online businesses and strategies.

Before I embark on this, I want you to understand that I know many will initially balk at this, simply because they think it is a lot of work. However, I will show you how to do it easily and why it can increase your web traffic by 50 to 80 percent and allow you to grow exponentially over time.

OK, here we go. With most webmasters, the design of a website is not just a job, it is a passion. However, creating the perfect website for the desired goal is a lot more difficult to do, than it is to visualize.

We all know that the initial visualization of an up and coming project does not contain all of the intricate detail that will need to be built into the website in order to make it a success. Coding functionality, flow, and aesthetic design are all too often thought to be the heart and soul of the website, and these details are what Webmasters tend to focus on during the development process.

Fortunately, when coding a website, many mistakes and instances of flawed thinking become evident. **End Summary** Topics: Website Traffic Traffic Building Web Design SEO Search Engine Optimization Internet Marketing
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business marketing experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple online businesses and strategies.
4 Tips For Powerful Search Engine Optimization

There has been much written about search engine optimization, as well it should. Search engine optimization is very important if you want to be ranked high in the search engines.

The only problem with search engine optimization is that search engines are forced to change what they consider optimized regularly due to misuse of the various techniques over time. There are individuals that seek to trick the search engines into given them more traffic than their content deserves. They do this by loading high search volume, irrelevant keywords into their content. This is getting harder to do successfully as search engines have begun cracking down on such tactics and the websites that employ them.

Cheating in search engine optimization has been the case and will always be the case and search engines will battle to squash the offenders. There are however, ways to optimize your website without falling into the whole getting banned from search engines scenario. Check out these four tips.

Tip Number One Determine the most searched word that applies to your offering. What are the keywords your potential customers are using to search for your service or product? **End Summary** Topics: SEO Search Engine Optimization Search Optimization Website Optimization Search Engine Marketing
About the Author:
John Reed is a internet marketing professional.
Affording Hannah Montana Tickets While Teaching Children

First, it is important to understand that inability to afford todays concert ticket prices is not uncommon. The days of paying 5 dollars at the door are gone. Today its all about understanding that supply and demand is driving the price higher on pretty much every form of entertainment.

Getting tickets to a Hannah Montana concert can be the dream of a lifetime for many children. The joy that attending one of these concerts brings can be a great memory. Unfortunately, the phrase, mom, can I go always seems to be uttered 3 to 4 times more than the number of seats available. This popularity can drive ticket prices up. Ticket prices of 500 to 1000 dollars are common. Thats just for one child. What about the 3 and 5 child households?

Needless to say, in this instance, the price of Hannah Montana tickets is far higher than most parents can afford to pay for a single outing for their children. In fact, in many homes 1000 dollars is more than the parents can pay for child entertainment in an entire year. **End Summary** Topics: hannah montana hannah montana tickets hannah montana concert tickets
About the Author:
John Reed attempts to help consumers find ways around high prices.
Effective Online Advertising In The Age Of Video Games

Before we review the tactics necessary to advertise effectively in a video game crazy world, we have to address a common misconception and show why you must change your train of thought concerning the advertising and marketing process.

Its hard to duplicate the excitement of video games and if you are marketing online, you need to do just that. Due to video games, the ever-growing graphical expectations of todays customers often nullify the expected excitement that a banner ad is supposed to produce. So, unless you sell a necessary consumable product like gasoline, you need to excite your customer.

Many online marketers are experiencing high levels of frustration due to their campaigns lack of measurable results. If you are experiencing this, you need to read this article to understand why this is happening and the easy way to break free of mediocre results. Its not hard. Its just not obvious.

To be successful at online marketing, one needs to be innovative when approaching the subject. It is said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results. **End Summary** Topics: advertising marketing search engine marketing business marketing online marketing online advertising
About the Author:
John Reed is a marketing consultant that attempts to present marketers with effective low cost advertising options as they emerge.
4 Tips To Getting Airline Tickets Cheaply

For many people, vacation time presents a mix of joy and pain. While everyone is willing to point out the wonderful feelings experienced when travelers go on vacation, most travelers continue to dread the price shock experienced. A select few have truly mastered the art of maximizing the enjoyment and minimizing the pain of vacation time. So, here are 4 tips for compounding the good of a vacation and suppressing the bad.

Tip 1 is Plan Your Trip Early Pretty much everything is cheaper when you buy it early. Using a popular travel site, we found that a trip from Houston to San Diego scheduled 3 days before flight time costs 560 dollars. While, the same trip purchased 6 months early would cost 369 dollars. Thats a savings of almost 200 dollars.

This leads many to ask a question. Why dont hotels and airlines just set their price and be done with it? Hotels and airlines recognize that your money can only get to them if they can lure you into making the purchase. The longer you wait to purchase from them, the more likely you are to change your mind or use their competitors. **End Summary** Topics: airline tickets travel hotel rooms vacations vacation packages
About the Author:
John Reed, Algoodi Travel aims to make the travel experience more pleasurable and less expensive for the masses.

Launching New Products Without Blowing Your Budget

Launching a new product is often the joy of many entrepreneurs. However, many entrepreneurs start this process by shooting their efforts in the foot, then wondering why their ambitions are only limping along.

In order to avoid this common error, entrepreneurs must come to understand a couple of facts that seem very cruel to most egos. One fact is that, at the launch stage, no one cares about your new product but you. The second fact is that you must find a way change fact number one.

Sure, I know what just popped into your head. You thought, (well, I will just advertise my product and let the money roll in.) That sounds good, but if we could somehow convene a committee of the owners of failed product launches of times past, you would find that they thought the same thing at the beginning of their campaigns. They did just that. And not only did they NOT make money; they lost money they already had in hand.

There must be an educational process implemented at the launch of any product. Just coming out of nowhere and telling consumers to buy your product is rarely successful. **End Summary** Topics: Product Launch New Product Marketing New Product advertising
About the Author:
John Reed is an internet marketer that embraces innovation in marketing.
SEO Key Phrase Strategy

OK, lets get to business. If you have ever advertised or marketed online, you have experienced being bombarded by various marketing terms. For every term that exists, there exists multiple opinions on how to employ the tactics SEO professionals prescribe.

Among the most focused upon aspects of search engine optimization is the infamous keyword. Marketers are told to choose the right ones and to inject them into their content to allow for the targeted traffic to find them via search engines.

Having read multiple search engine optimization articles and employed much of the same techniques on the website I own, it is amazing to see the lack of willingness to delve a bit deeper into the business of employing those carefully chosen keywords.

Sure, we all know that certain keywords in your web content can net you more traffic than others, but many would-be marketers find the technique of putting the keywords on their pages and wait for traffic, to be an ineffective and saturated one. Bidding wars and the shear number of retailers utilizing the same strategy commands the need for innovation when marketers attempt to stand out of the crowd. **End Summary** Topics: Search Engine Optimization SEO search engine marketing advertising
About the Author:
John Reed is an internet marketer that embraces innovation in marketing.
Five Ways Of Beating The Big Guys At Online Advertising

Irrespective of whether you use the term search engine marketing, advertising, online advertising, banner advertising or pay per click advertising, there is a common misconception by owners of new websites that the best way to get noticed is to jump in with both feet and immediately compete with the big boys of advertising.

This thinking has left many online entrepreneurs frustrated and feeling like their product or service is either inadequate or the cost barrier associated with marketing it is just too high. These misconceptions bear very little resemblance to the truth. There are several reasons why new Internet ventures fail to gain the attention they deserve. To all the would-be success stories, I offer five pieces of actionable advice.

(1-Dont Be Too Eager To Directly Compete With The Big Boys -) Competing with the big boys is definitely the future goal of any business, but it must be done in a smart way. Much like a prize fight, the challenger should have a few victories before declaring an all out battle with the big boy of the industry. If you have a large ego and that statement offends you, you are exactly who I am writing to. **End Summary** Topics: advertising marketing seo search engine marketing internet advertising
About the Author:
John Reed has 15 years business experience and runs XXOT the marketing center for smaller businesses.

The beginning of this years NFL season has been the most awe inspiring one in several years. For the first time in a long time, there is a determination that has permeated the sport of professional football and this feeling is certainly appreciated.

Of course the determination, to which I am referring, is the all out quest for the title of Super Bowl Champions. I know some will take issue with this declaration. They will say that the quest for the ring has always been there and while they may be correct, it has been some time since such a large number of contenders for the crown existed.

Thats what makes this particular season exciting. I wont mention specific teams as not to upset others that share a different view. But one has to admire the shear number of potential outcomes that could happen. OK, I cant help it. I have to mention a few teams. Sure, the Colts could repeat, the Patriots could take it, the Chargers, the Bears, Ravens, Saints, Seahawks or several others could win the Super Bowl and there would not be a stunned crowd at the game. The field is wide open. **End Summary** Topics: Football NFL Pro football Super Bowl 2008 Super Bowl
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has is an avid sports fan that enjoys the game of football and everything about it.
Owning A Ford For Less

As everyone knows, purchasing a Ford can be a expensive undertaking. Its not that Fords are the highest priced automobiles on the road or any thing. Its that auto prices continue to rise across the board as automakers improve and remodel automobiles.

I am sure part of the rise in price is due to the inflation of material costs, company profit goals but and the need to keep up with the desire of the public for better and better features.

Just a couple years ago, cars were simpler and had about the same uniquely packaged features. If you havent noticed, that has all changed. No, I mean really changed.

If you havent been to a Ford dealership in recent years, you are in for a treat. Making a choice between all of the available features will be interesting. As new features and technologies are developed and become available, they are added to the pool of already available features for a premium price. As years pass by, many of them become standard and are automatically added to the price of the next years model.

Now, here is the kicker. **End Summary** Topics: Ford Ford New York Ford Chicago Ford Houston
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple online businesses and strategies.
Promoting Like You Play Poker

Advertising your business is like playing poker. You have to risk your advertising budget that your current promotion tactic is the correct one, being used at the right time, in the right place.

Just like poker, there are other players at the table that have the same ambition and intentions as you. However, they have may have different promotion tactics and angles that they intend to use to reap the benefits that this dance on the advertising wild side can afford them.

The customer pot is huge but due to game rules, you must beat others out in order to obtain it.

You look around the table and notice that most of the players at your table are the big bank type. As indicated by the fact that they have a lot more chips than you do and a mistake on their part would have no where near the effect on them as it would on you. Your personal stash of marketing budget chips seems tiny in comparison with the players you must compete with. Recognize the game?

And to your total disgust, you find that every time you look up, some one at your table is raising the anti. **End Summary** Topics: search engine marketing advertising marketing
About the Author:
The author, John Reed, has 15 years business marketing experience and has had the opportunity to use and review multiple advertising strategies.
