While a lot of these warnings may apply to all air purifiers , in general (i.e., the non-residential variety) as well, I don't alot concerning the non-residential type of air purifier.

I honestly think that WE ALL should own some form of ionic air purifier in our homes. Why? Well, there are a number of medical conditions which can be avoided by cleaning the air in your home:

	Asthma
	Emphysema
	Eye Irritation

Not to mention the reduced probability of experiencing some of these and other conditions:

	Bacterial Infections (air borne): Airborne Bacterial Infections

Outstanding, but ozone air purifiers can't  be used in occupied areas! How come? To see why you must understand how they attract airborne contaminates. These purifiers actually create ozone gas... yes that's the same gas you've been concerned about over the past decade, which most believe has single-handedly caused global warming! Ozone air purifier makers meant well though.

Ozone gas is actually very effective in "cleaning air". The gas actually reacts chemically with the contaminates in your house to eliminate micro-organisms and pull other contaminates from the air.

One problem though... ozone gas can actually be harmful in large quantities, not just to our environment, but to humans also.
