If you have ever been to Utah, you know what a rich and diverse landscape the state has to offer. With those sundry landscapes come miles and miles of well-kept hiking trails, some of the most scenic in the country. Whether a leisurely riverside stroll or a strenuous backcountry hike, here are just a couple of Utah's countless superb trails for hiking if you are looking for the perfect Utah outdoor adventure.

The Zion Narrows The world's largest slot canyon and one of the best known outdoor attractions in Utah, the Narrows provide sixteen pristine miles of stunning nature views. There is no actual trail, hikers hike up the north fork of the Virgin River. The hike is spent mostly trekking through the river, which is usually knee deep but can be much deeper in certain areas.

Mount Timpanogos A hike not for the faint of heart, the Mount Timp hike is a strenuous thirteen mile hike up one of Utah's most majestic and well-known mountains. Lakes, a small glacier, waterfalls, alpine meadows, and wildflowers can all be seen on the way up to the summit. **End Summary** Topics: outdoor utah utah recreation utah outdoors utah hiking
About the Author:
