An Infatuation with Thrill at Rishikesh

Named appropriately after Lord Vishnu’s one of the innumerable names, Rishikesh (Hrishikesh) has always done justice to its meaning. As the word Hrishikesh denotes Lord of the senses, the whole city brings one’s senses alive when it comes to appreciating the mysticism and natural charisma of the place. After winning the great altitude, as you pan your eyes from the red flags strewn all over this beautiful town to the blushing sun at the horizon, a surge of energy automatically flows into your veins. This is because you have always known the color red as the symbol of positive energy. Probably, this is why you will find red in the highest arc of a rainbow and it is the first color to disappear from your vision as the night approaches. But, the red lost during twilight is soon replaced by a spread of yellow as soon as the ‘Ganga Aarti’ begins at the Triveni Ghat. At this moment the concrete stairs, Vedic hymns, countless oil lamps and clinking bells outline a world oblivious to the usual commotion in this small town just 138 miles away from Delhi.
However, the geography of Rishikesh is what makes the place an incredible destination. **End Summary** Topics: river rafting in rishikesh rafting in rishikesh river rafting rishikesh rafting in shivpuri rafting on ganga camping in rishikesh
About the Author:
Tapan kumar is an author of this article “An Infatuation with Thrill at Rishikesh”.To know more about river rafting in rishikesh or river rafting India visit our website www.river-rafting-india.com now!

Jim Corbett National Park: A Famous Wildlife Reserve in India

It is a different story that Rudyard Kipling’s cult novel ‘Jungle Book’ was based on another jungle in India, but Jim Corbett National Park is probably the most celebrated wildlife reserve in the country. This is may be because of the fact that India’s most ambitious wildlife conservation initiative was kicked off from this oldest national park in the country. The aim behind this initiative called ‘Project Tiger’ was to protect the critically endangered Bengal tigers residing in the region. Named in honor of Jim Corbett, a British hunter and conservationist who stressed on the need to protect India's wildlife from extermination, Jim Corbett National Park is one of the most sought after eco-tourism destination in the whole Asian region.

The park was first established in 1936 as Hailey National Park by protecting an establishment of rare bio-diversity in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Symbolically speaking, the park represents an amalgamation of two distinct cultures of Kumaon and Garhwal in Uttarakhand because of its locations at the convergence of both the regions. **End Summary** Topics: jim corbett national park corbett national park jim corbett park corbett national park india
About the Author:
Tapan Kumar is the author of the article “ Jim Corbett National Park ”. And later on lord Shiva retrieved her half-charred body himself. The local people think that the eyes of Sati dropped in the lake while her body was being carried by Lord Shiva to Kailesh Parvat. thus, the lake was known the name of 'Nainital' or Naini lake.
