6 Easy Ways to Maximize Your Team

Selecting the right people is just the beginning of building a successful team for your business. However, you cannot simply expect that your team alone will transform your business and take it to its next level of performance.

It is equally important to have the following six elements in place:

1. Strong leadership. Strong leadership requires creating a working environment that encourages the cooperation of your team members. Encourage and inspire and they in turn will inspire and encourage your customers.

2. Common goals. Teams need to understand what their common business goals are and those goals need to supersede all individual goals. Sports teams provide an excellent example of this concept.

Setting common goals for the business starts with the owner's vision. This must be regarded as the central aim and leaders must enlist the support of all team members to inspire them to do the things that they have to do.

3. Rules of the game. Employees also need to understand the rules that govern the way the owner conducts the business. The rules must be written down and available to them. **End Summary** Topics: Business advice ActionCOACH Brad Sugars
About the Author:
Click here for more information on <a href="http://www.businesscoaching.com/">business coaching</a> .
How The Benefits Of The Title "Award-Winning" Business Can Benefit Your Company

Here's a great way to start leveraging your business results and getting recognized for them in your local community.

Start to enter (and hopefully win!) local, regional and national business awards.

How can entering your company into an awards competition help you build your business?

In a word?

Credibility.

By competing against other companies in your industry or category, you show you are confident about your business results.

And, if you win, you can successfully promote this fact on your website, in your own PR, in your sales collateral and in your sales scripts.

You'll be known as an "award-winning" company, a designation that helps build your reputation (and in turn your brand) locally and regionally, and even nationally and globally (depending on the type of awards competition). **End Summary** Topics: Brad Sugars Business awards ActionCOACH
About the Author:
<a href="http://www.actioncoach.com/brad-sugars">Brad Sugars</a> , <a href="http://actioncoach.com/businessforum2011-awards?sub=enter">Business awards</a>

Looking for Business Help? Business Coaching May be for You

Even though business coaching is one of the fastest growing industries in the world, and demand for coaching services are high, many business owners really aren't sure what benefits hiring a Business Coach can have for their companies.

The process of business coaching makes it a perfect resource for owners looking for business help for their companies.

Why?

Because a good Business Coach will not only help you get to your goals quicker, he or she will also keep you accountable to getting the results you say you want.

That is the main difference between business coaching and business consulting.

Most consultants simply give you a list of strategies or "things to do" to help turn your business around.

A good Business Coach will do that, but only after using a series of questions to determine the main problem areas and points of opportunity in a business.

By questioning and getting answers from the owner, the coach will then guide the owner in developing his or her own "to do" list ... and will follow-up the next week to make sure those "to do's" have actually been done.

This level of process and accountability are key in the coaching process. **End Summary** Topics: ActionCOACH business help
About the Author:
For more information about how business coaching can help your business, visit: <a href="http://actioncoachaustralia.com/businesshelp/">http://actioncoachaustralia.com/businesshelp/</a>

7 Questions About Business Mentoring and Business Coaching

I'm often asked how a business mentor or a Business Coach can help a struggling business succeed or make a successful business better.

In my mind, the main value of having a mentor or a coach is in having someone beside you who knows the "ins and outs" of business, and more importantly, how to grow profits consistently versus simply cutting expenses as a way to get more money into your pocket.

Generally, there are 7 main questions most people ask about mentoring and coaching, and the answers here can hopefully clarify the benefits for you and your business:

1)How can business mentoring or business coaching help my business? They can guide you to greater success by helping you implement a series of proven systems and strategies designed to help your business grow. By focusing on proven systems and holding you accountable to your results, they may be one of the most important and influential people you could invest in for your business.

2)How do I choose a Business Coach? **End Summary** Topics: Business help Business advice Business mentoring
About the Author:
For more information on ActionCOACH business help, business mentoring, or business advice please visit <a href="http://actioncoachaustralia.com/">http://actioncoachaustralia.com/</a> -or- subscribe to our RSS feed <a href="http://actioncoachaustralia.com/?feed=rss2 ">http://actioncoachaustralia.com/?feed=rss2 </a>

The Four Keys to Successful Business Ownership

There are many keys to success. For business owners, I believe these can be summarized as being Leadership, Knowledge, Confidence and Activity.

Growth in all four of these areas is critical to support the growth of a business owner as their business grows. Given the right combination of all four key areas, the business will undoubtedly prosper. If any one or more of these areas is lacking, other areas will likely suffer and certainly the business will.

Before I discuss the importance of the combination of these four keys, I want to offer my description for each of them:

1. Leadership: Leadership is a characteristic that manifests itself as one's ability to lead others towards a common goal. It's not about getting others to follow through coercion, rules, fear of reprisals, various incentives or lucrative compensation plans.

A leader gets others to share in a clear vision and commit themselves to a task. A leader also gains the respect of others and is looked upon for guidance and wisdom.

As in all walks of life, many business owners are not natural born leaders. **End Summary** Topics: ActionCOACH library Small Business Coaching business advice business help business mentor business coach executive coach Business Coaching
About the Author:
The

As a Small to Medium Sized Company Grows, It Becomes Harder to Effectively Communicate

As a small-to-medium sized company grows, it becomes harder to effectively communicate across the organization. Whether within or between departments, communications must be optimized for organizations to execute at their peak. The key, according to ActionCOACH Marketing Director Jodie Shaw, is to recognize each employee's preferred style of information exchange.

"Modern personality assessment models are very good indicators of a person's preferred communication style," Shaw said. "When managers don't recognize those inherent differences, misunderstandings often ensue and lead to project delays or worse, conflict. Acknowledging those differences, and working within their parameters, significantly improves the communication flow."

The most respected assessment tool is the DISC Behavioral Model. DISC is an acronym for Dominance, Influence, Stability, and Conscientiousness, the four core personality styles the tool identifies. Recognizing a person's predominant style provides exceptional insight into his/her communication preferences. Here are the key characteristics of each category:

Dominance:
Employees with personalities that fit into the Dominance category might include managers and corporate officers. Descriptors of this style include: driven, demanding, aggressive, innovative, and competitive. These people are typically goal-oriented and relish personal challenges. **End Summary** Topics: ActionCOACH business advice small business advice business help library business mentor business coaching
About the Author:
The ActionCOACH business library provides information and services for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and professionals to manage, finance and build a better business. <a href="http://www.actioncoach.com/press-room/coach-library/ ">http://www.actioncoach.com/press-room/coach-library/ </a> For help on business coaching, please visit <a href="http://www.businesscoaching.com/">http://www.businesscoaching.com</a>

Marketing Mistakes And How To Fix Them

If you're like many business owners, you're either doing the wrong marketing activities well, or doing the right marketing activities wrong. Now, how could that ever happen? It's quite simple really, let me explain:

Firstly, in my business experience, I've noticed that most entrepreneurs and business owners have one thing in common. They spend most of their time working "in" their business, and very little time working "on" it. That is, they spend too much of their precious time performing operational tasks and far too little (if any) time planning how they want their business to perform.

As a result, they cannot see the forest for the trees. They just keep on doing what may have worked well once. Quite often, because they deal with so many day-to-day hassles, they just keep doing what does not create another hassle. They rarely stop to question whether what they're doing its working well now, let alone whether they could do any better.

Secondly, the brutal reality is that most business owners have never had any marketing training!!

If you want to do your marketing "right", you have to start with a plan. **End Summary** Topics: ActionCOACH business advice small business advice business help library business mentor business coaching
About the Author:
The ActionCOACH business library provides information and services for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and professionals to manage, finance and build a better business. <a href="http://www.actioncoach.com/business-coach.php/Marketing+Mistakes+And+How+To+Fix+Them">http://www.actioncoach.com/press-room/coach-library/</a> For help on business coaching, please visit <a href="http://www.businesscoaching.com/business-coaching-increases-profits/">http://www.businesscoaching.com/business-coaching-increases-profits/</a>

How to Make Your Business Boom

As we head out of our economic "winter" into economic "spring," here are some proven strategies to make sure your business can "boom" over the course of the next several years.

While that is a problem ... it is a great opportunity to truly grow your business, and build on your previous success.

Just a few new tools, or a few tweaks to an old strategy, can really drive revenues and profits. And from my experience, it can take just a couple strategies consistently applied over time to really improve business performance. So, what are some good strategies?

1) Accept the business cycle, but learn to profit from it. Just like the seasons, business has its ups and downs. Right now, we are coming out of economic "winter" and heading into economic "spring." What do you do in spring? Get your soil ready and plant your seeds.

In business terms, this means get a good marketing program in place and start planting "seeds" in your marketplace.

2) Learn the value of the "Lifetime Value" of a customer. **End Summary** Topics: Business is Booming Brad Sugars business building
About the Author:
Reserve your seat at the next <a href="http://businessisboomingtour.com/">Business is Booming</a> event near you.

If you could reach just one goal in 2010, which one would it be?

How much of a difference in your life would it make if you reached it?

So, how is 2008 shaping up for you? Will it be just another ho-hum year that started with great intentions (that maybe have faded away) or will this be YOUR Year?

Go back to the goals that you set earlier this year, most likely with great enthusiasm: Losing weight, spending more time with your family, getting out of debt, improving the cashflow and profit in your business, changing careers or starting a new business (that you've been talking about for years). Maybe there are more that you've forgotten about?

7 Reasons Executive Coaching is in Demand

Today, Executive Coaching is a billion dollar industry. Executives who are going somewhere in their careers are the ones who hire an Executive Coach. In days past, executives who hired an Executive Coach were looked down upon as ones that were on their way out. Today, executives who use the services provided by professional Executive Coaches are looked upon as ones who are on their way up.

There are many reasons that have helped raise the profile of the executive coaching industry -as more and more executives understand the necessity of having a coach.

Just like a sports coach is a necessity for every athlete, an Executive Coach is a necessity for every leader or senior executive.

Here are seven reasons executives hire Executive coaches.

1. You are looking to achieve significant results, solve a pressing challenge, and/or take advantage of a major opportunity.

2. You are looking for a credible, engaging, knowledgeable and experienced advisor.

3. You are willing to, and are expecting to, be held accountable for your results.

4. You are comfortable with an outside perspective, and are willing to take calculated risks to advance your company and career.

If you are a successful executive, you may have been approached by your team or an outside consultancy about the possibility of being coached by an Executive Coach.

But why would you consider hiring a coach if you were already successful and delivering high performance results? Why would you hire a coach if you were already making lots of money and are moving towards an upward climb?

Or if you had a track record of success? Or if you had an important and prestigious title? Or if hundreds (or thousands) of people reported to you? Or if people have told you for most of your career that you are doing a great job? Or if your employees counted on you to set direction for them?

You probably don't think you need any help if you could answer "yes" to the above questions. In fact, nine out of ten executives say "No, thank you" to executive coaching, and the tenth will generally say they don't need executive coaching, but many of their direct reports do.

Despite the above, many executives have coaches, and report that their coaching experience is extremely valuable, even one of the most valuable experiences of their career. **End Summary** Topics: Executive Coach Executive Coaching ActionCOACH performance leadership coaching executives hiring an Executive Coach
About the Author:
For more information on this article, please visit <a href="http://exec.actioncoach.com/pdfs/7_reasons.pdf">http://exec.actioncoach.com/pdfs/7_reasons.pdf</a> OR for general information and news on Executive Coaching, visit <a href="http://exec.actioncoach.com">http://exec.actioncoach.com</a>

Today's Global Leader in the Information Age

The days following the Industrial Age changed the face of leadership. The old hierarchical 'command and control' business model has now been replaced by one based on more egalitarian grounds 'where leaders and followers enjoy more parity.

This is because the older, more authoritarian approach does not work with the empowered employees in the current Information Age.

This is the reason why leaders and executives cannot succeed if they lack self-awareness.

While the leader of a global organization today needs a variety of skills to succeed, it is not possible that every single leader possesses all of these skills and talents simultaneously. Leaders are faced with an endless list of challenges in multiple areas, including finances, marketing, legal, human resources, team and leadership as well as those relating to rapidly changing technology.

Good leaders need to have an innate understanding of their specific skills sets as well as limitations -the type of personal mastery, which helps them become aware of the fact that they cannot possibly deal with every single issue or challenge.A good Executive Coach can help the executive or leader achieve personal mastery and help them cope with the challenges in a much more effective manner. **End Summary** Topics: Executive Coach Executive Coaching ActionCOACH leadership business help mentoring advise executives consulting
About the Author:
For more information on this article, please visit <a href="http://exec.actioncoach.com/leadership-in-todays-lnformation-age.php">http://exec.actioncoach.com/leadership-in-todays-lnformation-age.php</a> OR for general information and news on Executive Coaching, visit <a href="http://exec.actioncoach.com">http://exec.actioncoach.com</a>

A majority of large corporations have their own view points when it comes to leadership ideals and competencies for many senior executive roles.

These competencies form the basis of job descriptions, hiring and promotion decisions, performance reviews, and professional development plans.

However, it is critical that the executive have his/her own perspective when it comes to the question of what makes a successful leader.

Many executives cringe when consultants and coaches talk about fuzzy "feel good" concepts like mission, purpose, values, talent, and passion.

Like you, many have been through so many fad programs, wasted retreats crafting mission statements, drives to achieve quarterly results no matter what and short-sighted restructuring, that they get cynical when it comes to these concepts.

Despite this reluctance, you need to be willing to understand your own deeper aspirations and reasons for coming to work. Therefore, as you engage in conversations about vision, purpose, values, talent, and passion, acknowledge to yourself that you feel uncomfortable and skeptical. However, also be willing to explore the reasons that drive you to do the work you currently do.

All of the above work begins to form a foundation for you and your coach. **End Summary** Topics: Executive Coach Executive Coaching ActionCOACH performance leadership potential coaching executives talent management
About the Author:
For more information on this article, please visit <a href="http://exec.actioncoach.com/pdfs/how_to_improve_with_executive_coaching.pdf">http://exec.actioncoach.com/pdfs/how_to_improve_with_executive_coaching.pdf</a> OR for general information and news on Executive Coaching, visit <a href="http://exec.actioncoach.com">http://exec.actioncoach.com</a>

If anyone knows about a business challenge that seems insurmountable, it’s Michele Alexander. On a Tuesday morning two years ago, she woke up completely deaf.

Two years ago on a Monday evening, Alexander was sitting at her computer when she thought she heard a home alarm going off. Her husband told her he couldn’t hear anything, and Alexander thought nothing of it when she went to bed.

But her mood changed drastically when she woke up the next morning completely deaf. “I woke up the next morning and could hear nothing,” she said. “Well, actually I had tinnitus, so I heard heaps – the ringing in my ears seemed so loud against the deafness. It sounded like the noise we hear being submerged in water.”

Alexander had actually been deaf in her left ear for 12 years prior to this incident. She wasn’t bothered because she had perfect hearing in her other ear. But with no hearing at all now, and a job as an ActionCOACH Business Coach, Alexander was in complete shock. Worse, she had a very busy Tuesday with several business coaching sessions with clients that day.

“It was a complete blur,” she said. **End Summary** Topics: business coaching business coach business coaches business coaching services business advice business help business owner small business owner consult
About the Author:
To read more, visit <a href="http://www.businesscoaching.com">http://www.businesscoaching.com</a>

In our first two articles on this subject, we looked at the types of Executive personalities. Now, we'll continue with our overview, so you can be better aware of your own type of personality and see how executive coaching could benefit you.

9. The General.
The General is the old school command and control leader. He wants his people to be loyal, and to do what he wants them to do, on time, under budget, and his way. This leadership style can be effective, especially in organizations that need a clear direction. However, the "soldiers" who report to the General often complain that they don't feel part of the bigger vision, and burn out from doing project after project, task after task, without a greater purpose or mission. They also resent being in a "mushroom farm" where they only get information on a need to know basis. Finally, younger workers do not respond well to the command and control style. The coach can help the General develop new ways to motivate, involve, and bring together teams to get the same results.

10. The Bureaucrat.
The Bureaucrat needs specific processes followed and does things by the book. **End Summary** Topics: executive coach executive coaches executive coaching executive leadership coaching program executive function coaching business coaching consulting ex
About the Author:
Advance a career.
In our final article, we'll review the last types of Executive personalities.
Hopefully, you can be better aware of your own type of personality and see how executive coaching could benefit you.

14. The Popularity Contest.
This executive still wants to be friends with his direct reports. He prefers harmony and popularity to conflict. As a result, he has a hard time raising standards, giving tough feedback, and holding people accountable. The coach can work with this client to have him value respect more than popularity, practice the behaviors that lead to results, and get skilled at dealing with conflicts.

15. The Psychic Communicator.
This executive keeps it all in his head. Employees rarely know how they are doing, what future plans are, the vision for the organization, or what they need to do to get ahead. Often these individuals have trouble expressing their ideas, or haven't thought through their point of view clearly enough. The coach can work with this executive to become a concise, more open communicator.

16. The Analyst.
The Analyst needs to know every step in a process, and often drives non-analysts crazy with ongoing requests for information. However, the Analyst's focus on details is valuable. **End Summary** Topics: executive coach executive coaches executive coaching executive leadership coaching program executive function coaching business coaching consulting ex
About the Author:
Advance a career.
As an executive, you are probably aware that successful executives display a number of personality traits that have been defined and identified by years of management research.

The goal of executive coaching is to improve performance no matter what type of personality an individual (or the collective personality of an executive's team) may have or display.

That said, the more you know about your individual profile and personality, the easier and more effectively you can progress over the course of an executive coaching program.

You will also get better quality results based on what is appropriate and effective for a particular situation and personality style.

The 20 Most Common Executive Archetypes ... Which One are You?

The following are some common executive archetypes that have been identified and profiled as the result of extensive managerial research. While this list isn't inclusive, it should give you a good overview and possibly some insight into your own executive style, personality and behavior.

1. The Aggressor.
The Aggressor responds to stressful situations by being overly assertive, to the point where he comes across as coercive and even abusive. **End Summary** Topics: executive coach executive coaches executive coaching executive leadership coaching program executive function coaching business coaching consulting ex
About the Author:
Advance a career.
In our first article on this subject, we looked at the types of Executive personalities. Now, we'll continue with our overview, so you can be better aware of your own type of personality and see how executive coaching could benefit you.

4. The Status Seeker. The Status Seeker won't admit it, but he prefers the perquisites over getting results. He or she is very concerned with looking good, getting credit, and building a strong reputation. Fancy titles, big bonuses, special recognition, and the corner office are all important to the Status Seeker. The coach needs to have the status seeker focus on results and accountability first, and the natural status that follows from results second.

5. The Bottom-Liner. This very driven executive speaks quickly and concisely, has little tolerance for lengthy analysis, makes quick decisions from the gut and wants results yesterday. The Bottom-Liner needs to become more patient and tolerant of people with different styles, and learn to adapt his style to the person he is dealing with.

6. The Safety First-er. Executives motivated by safety resist change. They may be close to retirement, or simply do not want to rock the boat. **End Summary** Topics: executive coach executive coaches executive coaching executive leadership coaching program executive function coaching business coaching consulting ex
About the Author:
For more information please visit <a href="http://exec.actioncoach.com">http://exec.actioncoach.com</a>

Three years ago, Chris Robertson started his own business. He thought this would give him more free time, but unfortunately, with his business, he actually didn't have a flexible schedule.

Robertson was working all the time at his business, Beel Welding and Fabrication – long days, every Saturday and some Sundays. Worst to Robertson, he knew he wasn't making as much money as he knew he could be making.

Three months ago, however, he hired an ActionCOACH Business Coach, Warrick Bidwell, and his business situation has vastly improved.

Robertson actually took some convincing to hire a Coach– Bidwell’s team got in touch with him a year ago, but couldn’t convince him that business coaching was a worthy investment. Bidwell invited him to an Intro to Business Coaching seminar five months ago, but he couldn't attend.

Finally, Robertson attended a Business Diagnostic with Bidwell and finally hired him as a Business Coach. Beel Welding and Fabrication seems to have been doing better ever since hiring him.

“In the past three months, we’ve been putting goals and systems in place for his team as well as developing Chris’ leadership and confidence,” Bidwell said. **End Summary** Topics: business coaching business coach business coaches business coaching services business advice business help business owner small business owner consult
About the Author:
To find out more, visit <a href="http://www.businesscoaching.com">http://www.businesscoaching.com</a>

Every Business Could Use a Business Coach

How can you tell if your business needs a Business Coach?

If you are working too many hours, making too little money, dealing with too many issues related to your team and employees, or simply feeling that working in your business is little better than having a job, then you probably need a Business Coach.

In today's economy, that is the state of most business owners. It's also why more than 80% of all businesses fail within five years, even when run by smart, bright and highly motivated individuals.

The good news is the gap between what people think they know about business and business reality can be filled very effectively by a good Business Coach.

Why?

Because good Business Coaches are generalists, as opposed to business consultants, who tend to be specialists, or who tend to be highly skilled in a particular area or expert in a particular industry.

Not that there is anything wrong with that ... but for most small businesses (and that accounts for more than 98% of all businesses), owners are looking for exponential changes in their companies very quickly (typically in terms of six to eight weeks). **End Summary** Topics: business coaching business coach business coaches business coaching services business advice business help business owner small business owner
About the Author:
To learn more, visit <a href="http://www.businesscoaching.com">http://www.businesscoaching.com</a>

Some women who did it all before giving birth think they'll be fine after they give birth. They've never experienced problems before, after all. What could go wrong?

As many new mothers soon found out, lots. Turns out, transitioning to motherhood isn't as easy as they thought it would be.

Baby Angel was established in March 2007 by Rebecca Cass, a nurse experienced in pediatric, neonatal, and obstetric care. Rebecca saw a real need for a service that provided all the extra care and support new parents didn't have when they were sent home within days or even hours after delivery. Being a mum herself, Rebecca knew what it was like to go home exhausted with all the responsibilities of a new baby. She also understood how valuable a meal or help with the housework was in those important early days at home.

Since 2007, Baby Angel has helped a great number of parents with those first few weeks, whether it be teaching new mums and dads how to settle and understand their babies, regular daily home help, or delivering fresh family food parcels. Cass had a great idea, and it quickly caught on. **End Summary** Topics: business coaching business coach business coaches business coaching services business advice business help business owner
About the Author:
For more about business coaching, visit <a href="http://www.businesscoaching.com">http://www.businesscoaching.com</a>

Why You Should Get on the Business Coaching Bandwagon

Challenges are hard to anticipate in any business, but they’re easier to overcome with business coaching.

Business coaching is just like sports coaching – like a sports coach coaching an athlete and trains them to get better, business coaching not only helps businesses establish organized plans for every challenge they come across, it helps set those plans in motion. Companies that have business coaching tackle challenges with a plan and business strategy from the business owner’s view and an outside view: the business coach. This way, the business owner can achieve all he wants.

Here are some general statistics about business coaching today:

“Annual spending on executive coaching in the United States is estimated at $1 billion.” – Harvard Business Review, November 2004.

“Use of coaching is widespread in UK organisations, with almost nine in ten respondents reporting that they now use coaching in their organization (88%).” – University of Bristol Newsletter, 2005.

“The Australian Institute of Management says 70% of its member companies hire coaches.” – Inside Business Channel 2, July 2006.

"A study says 40,000 people in the U.S. work as coaches (work or life) and the $2. **End Summary** Topics: business coaching business coach business coaches business coaching services business advice business help business owner consulting increase profits
About the Author:
For more information on Business Coaching please visit <a href="http://www.businesscoaching.com">http://www.businesscoaching.com</a>

Business Mentor vs. Business Coach - which is better

The truth is both business mentors and business coaches are great options if you're looking for business help.

They both serve different purposes, however, A business coach makes clients focus on the results of the job, and extends the time span of attention to months rather than days.

They explore the problem with the learner and set up opportunities for the learner to try out new skills.

A business mentor focuses on the individual learner developing through their career or life. A business mentor acts as a friend willing to play the part of an adversary in challenging the learner to widen their view.

As the world of business moves faster and gets more competitive, it is difficult to keep up with both the changes in your industry and, the innovations in sales, marketing and management strategies as well. Having a business mentor helps with all these changes.

On top of all this, it's difficult to get a truly objective answer from yourself. A business mentor will provide valuable insight, help you develop long-term and short term goals and strategies, as well as improve your business in areas that you might have overlooked. **End Summary** Topics: Business Mentor Business Coach Business Advice
About the Author:
For more information on Brad Sugars please visit: <a href="http://www.actioncoach.com/bradsugars">http://www.actioncoach.com/bradsugars</a> -or- For more information on Business Mentor <a href="http://www.actioncoach.com/business_advice_and_business_help_mentor/">http://www.actioncoach.com/business_advice_and_business_help_mentor/</a>

The "Top 10" Reasons to Start New Business Today

Do you have one good reason to start your business right now?

How about 10?

Regardless of what people around you may say, right now is absolutely the best time to get into business, and I'll give you 10 good reasons "why" - no matter what other people or the media say.

If you don't believe me, just go back and look at the slowdowns throughout economic history. Most recessions in the post-World War II era U.S. last just an average of 10 months, followed by growth cycles that last an average of 50 months.

What this means for the start-up is there is no better time than right now to get going and start pursuing your business dreams - in anticipation of the next period of growth.

1)First, everything is cheaper. There is great value right now in this and in world markets. As asset prices have been knocked down, there is no better time to get into the real estate or financial markets, or even heavy equipment and construction. Some people have waited years to find value in these markets - and now that time has come.

2)You can hire more team and better qualified people. **End Summary** Topics: Business Coaching Brad Sugars
About the Author:
For more information on Brad Sugars please visit:
