Composting at Your New Home

If you’ve never had a composting system before or you have moved from a home that had a previously set-up composter in the yard and moved to one that does not, it may seem a little daunting to plan making a new one. A new composting system doesn’t have to be a high tech endeavor however, they can be as simple or complex as you want to make them.

There are many composters on the market that you can buy premade; they are often made from plastic, wood, or wire. Some prefabricated compost bins can easily be turned due to their shape or having a frame that they sit on with an axis to be turned periodically. Many are stationary and must be turned by hand when the time comes. It is, however, quite easy to build a compost in your yard out of two by fours or recycled wooden pallets as well.

Using either a prefabricated or a do-it-yourself composter will give you similar results: less organic waste ending up in your garbage plus some really great loamy soil at the end of the whole process. **End Summary** Topics: composts home improvements landscaping home composts
About the Author:
Visit TommyPennington.com for free, up-to-date <a href="http://www.tommypennington.com/idx/" target="_blank">Southlake Texas MLS listings</a> .
First-Time Homebuyer’s Credit Possibly Extended Amongst Fraud Investigation

The $8000 first-time homebuyer’s credit is set to expire on November 30th and in the midst of a storm of controversy surrounding the possibility of fraud in over 100,000 claims for the tax credit there is a push to have the home buyers’ credit extended and modified to increase eligibility and give home buyers a larger piece of the stimulus pie.

The National Association of Realtors claims that about 355,000 homes were sold that would not have been if the homebuyer’s credit had not been extended to buyers. It is also suggested that over 175 thousand new jobs were created over the span of time that this credit has been in place so far.

Some Senators are working to have the length of time that the home buyers credit is available, possibly keeping the program going until next summer if all goes well. There is also a plan in the works to change the family income limits so that more people can qualify for the program. **End Summary** Topics: home buyers tax credit home buying mortgage fraud tax credits buying real estate
About the Author:
Visit TommyPennington.com to search for <a href="http://www.tommypennington.com/trophy-club-real-estate.php" target="_blank">Trophy Club homes</a> .
Buying a Home with a Septic System

When you're looking to buy a new home one important aspect that many prospective buyers may overlook is if their home of choice is on city sewage or has its own septic system. Because a septic system is unfamiliar for many people they may not know what they need to look for when buying a home with that type of waste water treatment.

Septic systems take all the waste water from your home, including grey water (wash water) and sewage and treat it by settling out the solids, exposing it to bacteria, and filtering the water through a septic field of sorts.

All septic systems start with a septic tank made from a fairly inert material like concrete or fibreglass. This two part tank is where all the waste water from your home flows into. The septic tank has a divider with a hole about two thirds of the way up to allow fluids to flow through while blocking most of the solid matter and collecting grease at the top; this allows the water to flow out of the end of the tank with less impediment. **End Summary** Topics: septic systems septic tanks home improvement waste water treatment home buying
About the Author:
Visit TommyPennington.com to search for <a href="http://www.tommypennington.com/" target="_blank">Southlake TX homes for sale</a> .
Sound Branding Company Webpages: Silence is Golden

If it wasn't bad enough that you can't seem to access a web page these days without having some sort of horrible mouse-over rollout advertising taking up your entire screen, there's a company that's looking to brand your website with a little jingle by using their web page tool.

In theory, this jingle tool brands your website and helps you "connect" to your client base whether they're paying attention or not. I suppose that if you're looking to only sell homes to people who listen to country music or classical or who like the sound of birds chirping, this might make sense, but I highly suspect that this whole "jingle technology" is just as likely to annoy people who come to your site as it is to endear you to them.

The idea of music on your website isn't new; in fact it's been happening for years. Many websites covered with flashing banner ads and animated gifs are still using embedded music in their content to offset their neon yellow and bright red text.

This prevalence is, however, less common than it used to be, thankfully. **End Summary** Topics: branding marketing online branding online marketing business
About the Author:
To search <a href="http://www.tommypennington.com/" target="_blank">Southlake MLS listings</a> , visit TommyPennington.com.
Busy Professional? Take Time to Save Your Sanity

Intro - Most professionals are well aware of the work that it takes to make their business successful and the stress that can be produced as a side effect thereof, but sometimes we overlook the fact that we're in control and can take steps to reduce the stress in our lives.

Stress comes in a few different forms; the useful type of stress is in response to some form of excitement or threat and then dissipates when the threat is removed or the excitement is over. Bad stress comes in when the perceived threat doesn't dissipate and the body thinks that it needs to keep physically coping with it.

Long-term or chronic stress keeps the "fight or flight" response triggered in the body which keeps it producing adrenaline and the stress hormone cortisol. Not only are you continuously exposed to these chemicals, but your body will actually sensitize to them in the long run and will suppress your body's ability to fight off illness.

There are mental symptoms that come with chronic stress as well, including: anxiety, eating disorders, depression, substance abuse, mood problems, and memory problems. **End Summary** Topics: stress business professionals stress management health living healthy
About the Author:
To search for <a href="http://www.tommypennington.com/" target="_blank">Southlake Texas homes</a> , visit TommyPennington.com.
