Samburu Serena Safari Lodge is a luxury Game Hotel located on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, in the center of the Samburu Game Reserve Kenya. The Samburu Serena Lodge echoes the robust rhythms of Africa riverfront life. Serena Samburu Lodge was inspired by the architecture of the indigenous Samburu tribe; it blends into its natural environment by making full use of native materials.
Thatched cabins built using exotic African woods create an escapist atmosphere. Accommodation in Samburu Serena Hotel is cooled by breezes off the river and overhead punkah fans. All guestrooms have private verandahs with uninterrupted vistas of the languid river and the wildlife it attracts, as well as the countless crocodiles that make the waters their home. Gracious dining and lounge areas are enhanced by Samburu details and murals depicting local nature. The Samburu dancers will entertain you during one of your days here, and it might even be possible to visit one of their villages if you're interested, for a nominal small fee.

Samburu National Reserve Kenya is situated in the hot and arid fringes of Kenya's vast Northern Frontier District. The Samburu National Reserve is home to the Samburu tribe, pastoral cousins of the Masai. The landscape is rugged and dramatic - against a backdrop of volcanic mountains, gaunt hills and withered scrub tree punctuate the sparse and dry terrain with clusters of the incredibly hardy desert rose providing the occasional flash of vivid co lour.
The Samburu region is the best place to find several endemic Northern species, including Gerenuk, the Reticulated Giraffe, and Grevy's Zebra. The forests along the river banks are home to many birds, including local species such as the Palm Nut Vulture and the Vinaceous Dove. These forests are also home to many Leopards, often seen at dusk.
The Samburu Game Reserve Safaris should be in your itinerary when you plan an in Kenya Safari or any Africa Safari Holiday, because it is one of the less well known of the Kenya Game Reserves, and so less crowded, and in addition it has several species which are considered to be unique to the region. **End Summary** Topics: Samburu safaris lodge camping safari Kenya tour operator
About the Author:
Edwin is a specialist in African Safaris and a tour operator. Samburu Safari Lodge is located on the Uaso Nyiro River bank with a backdrop of mountains and indigenous animals unique to the region. Samburu Lodge offers a wide choice of accommodation in Samburu National Park and spread up and down the river in cottages, bandas and single or twin rooms. All hotel rooms in Samburu Lodge face the river and are complete with a four poster mosquito net. Kenya is easily accessible from Nanyuki, through the Naro Moru gate or Sirimon gate. Travelers from the Meru/Embu region can use the Chogoria gate to access Mount Kenya.
Climbing routes of Mt. Kenya
The benefit with the Nanyuki side of Mt. Kenya is that, you can sample the delights of both Mt. Kenya and the Aberdares. Nanyuki is an old colonial town with many holiday safaris accommodations that can cater for both budget hotels and luxury hotels. For those keen on wildlife viewing, the Mt.
Malindi Beach Villas & Resorts on Fire

Over 200 private luxury villas worth billions of shillings were destroyed in Malindi following a fierce fire on Sunday. Though no one was injured, nothing was salvaged during the 1.30 pm inferno that also gutted down more than 50 luxury vehicles at the Oasis area of Malindi town, 120 kilometres north east of Mombassa.
Malindi Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) Peter Kattam said the fire started at Lion Villas and quickly spread to the luxurious Palm Tree Hotel and Kibokoni villas.
The Kibokoni villas comprise more than 100 villas, according to hoteliers." The vehicles belonged to foreign tourists who had locked them in the villas," Kattam added. Police, members of the public and Malindi fire brigade had a rough time trying to put off the fire that was fanned by the strong winds from the Indian Ocean. Kattam said they were yet to establish the cause of the fire.
A hotelier Mr Muiruri, whose hotel was destroyed blamed the Malindi fire fighting unit for their slow response to fire outbreaks in the tourist resort. **End Summary** Topics: Malindi Beach Villas Resorts Fire Palm Tree Hotel Kiboko
About the Author:
Edwin is a specialist in African Safaris and a tour operator.
Kenya Luxury Private Flying Safari Information

While the more standard Kenya Tanzania safaris are just fine by most travelers, others may be searching for a safari travel in Kenia Tanzania that puts a premium on extravagance and luxury style. Luxury kenia safaris are able to deliver a top notch quality experience, you'll enjoy high quality meals, upscale hotel accommodations, and plenty of other perks on a luxury kenia safari, and you can bet that your transportation from various holiday destinations will be as good as it can be.

Larsens Tented Camp Samburu is situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the ruggedly beautiful Samburu National Game Reserve Kenya, features safari-chic style luxury tented camp in the midst of Kenya's untamed wilderness. Unquestionably one of Kenya's pre-eminent safari destinations, Larsens camp Hotel Samburu is named after Erik Ole Larsen, a legendary Dane credited with defining the Kenya luxury safari under a tented camp and Mobile camping. Designed in contemporary safari style, luxury is blended with the stunning surroundings of the spectacular Samburu Game Reserve.
Samburu Larsens Camp was opened in 1987, and is 320 km north of Nairobi, Kenya, on the border of the old Northern Frontier Province. Tranquility and nature embrace you the minute you enter Larsens Lodge Hotel with the river being the perfect stage for an endless pageant of wildlife - elephants rolling and trumpeting in the shallows, timid impala nervously drinking, baboons and vervet monkeys swinging through the canopy of trees. The only man made noise is that of the young Samburu flutist as he slowly makes his way along the river front. He unobtrusively doubles as a palm nut thrower when the monkeys become too bold. **End Summary** Topics: Larsens tented camp luxury hotel Samburu Game Reserve Ke
About the Author:
Edwin is a specialist in African Safaris and a tour operator. Kenya Beach coast runs for roughly 480 km from Somalia in the North to Tanzania in the South. A fringing reef system and the establishing of effective Marine park reserves have made Kenya an excellent dive location in its own right, but this combined with a Kenya Safari Holiday is what makes Kenya so special.
Mombasa South Coast Dive Sites - Kisite Marine Park & Mpunguti Marine Reserve
The Kisite-Mpunguti marine national park is about 75 miles south of Mombasa in the far south of Kenya. The diving here is not as seasonal as it is further up the coast and local conditions are excellent for much of the year. In Kisite Marine Park and Mpunguti Marine Reserves there have been found around 250 varieties of marine fishes, and over 40 varieties of coral species, including large numbers of pelagic fish, butterfly, parrot, rock cod, angel, manta ray. Turtles, dolphins, reef sharks are also seen. Corals like brain, stag horn, lilac-blue, mushroom, and lavender
Mombasa Marine National Park and Reserve - The Park is 10 km2 while the reserve is 200 km2. Both the park and reserve are the most highly utilized among marine protected areas. **End Summary** Topics: Scuba Diving Mombasa diving scuba scuba diving mombassa
About the Author:
Edwin is a specialist in African Safaris and a tour operator. If you come across a tourist whose passport reveals multiple entries to Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Singapore, it is most likely that when you continue flipping the pages, you will come across a couple of entries to Kenya.
If you forcefully examine his luggage, you may find old chattered airline tickets or taxi receipts evidencing frequent tours to Malindi, on more investigation will confirm short stays in a range of Malindi Beach Resorts and exclusive Malindi private beach villas (primarily owned by Italians). At this stage, a man of average intelligence acting prudently will not want to view the tourists' picture album….especially if it is resting on a box of assorted candies, lollipops and bubble gum. Guys we are at the advent of the most profitable child sex tourism industry in Africa.
Pictures of lions hunting impalas at Tsavo National Park are slowly being replaced with those of white pony-tailed sandal wearing Italian tourists preying on beautiful black young Kenyan girls. Elephant tusks, leopard skins and rhino horns are no longer the much sort out trophies; **End Summary** Topics: Italians Raping Children Luxury Villas Hotels Malindi
About the Author:
Edwin is a specialist in African Safaris and a tour operator.
Sarova Shaba Lodge is a luxury lodge accommodation built near a natural spring which feeds into a multitude of streams and pools throughout the grounds creating an oasis of lush tropical vegetation. Décor is thatched roof, stone and timber, tastefully combining local materials and architectural style. Each room has en-suite facilities, mosquito netting and fans.
The open air restaurant overlooks the pool, river and lodge grounds. Shaba Sarova lodge Hotel is a deluxe Kenya accommodation set in "Born Free" country, where the glories of nature are concentrated in this semi-desert oasis of Shaba National Reserve. Spring water flows throughout to form beautiful water cascades and sparkle into the Uaaso Nyiro River, the habitat for crocodiles.
