Sie bittet also ihren Vater, Dorante zuvor unerkannt prüfen zu dürfen Ihr Plan ist es sich als die Zofe Lisette auszugeben und in ihre Rolle einzuschlüpfen. Diese merkwürdige Idee seiner Tochter amüsiert Orgon. Er gewährt Silvia ihren Plan durchzuführen. Doch was Silvia nicht weiß, ist das ihr Versprochene Dorante die gleiche Idee hatte.
