The body, digest, transforms food, nutrients into blood into structure into function, into health or disease. The correct amount of structure and function produces health, the incorrect, disease.

There are only two kinds of foods, nutrients, building and cleansing. Building nutrients, food, protein, fat, oil, meat, eggs, cheese, etc. build and fuel all structure and function. Cleansing nutrients, foods, water, minerals, sugar, fruit, vegetables, grains, etc. reduce, cleanse, cool and moisten.

The correct combination of building and cleansing produces and maintains the correct amount of structure and function where the body mind can thrive.

The incorrect combination, amounts, in the extreme, worsen, sicken the body mind via too much (overbuilt) or too little (under built, over cleansed) structure and function.

The heart is a thick, muscular organ that is located in the chest, left center between the lungs. It is divided into left and right sides by a septum. Each side has four chambers, two upper, atrium, auricles and two lower, ventricles.

De-oxygenated blood flows via the Superior Vena Cava (major vein leading from the upper half of the body) into the heart into the right atrium into the right ventricle and out to the lungs via the pulmonary artery. **End Summary** Topics:
About the Author:
Richard Heft, Acupuncture Physician (FL 1992-2002); owner, operator Food and Thought, health food store, Hollywood, FL (1984-2001); Hot and Cold Health, web: http://www.hotandcoldhealth.net

The way of health is the way of the body which is largely the way of food, diet. The body digests, transforms food, nutrients into blood into structure into function, into health or disease.

There are only two kinds of nutrients, foods: building and cleansing. The correct amount of building and cleansing produces the correct amount of structure and function where the body mind can thrive. The incorrect worsens, sickens the body mind via too much (overbuilt) or too little (under built, over cleansed) structure and function.

Infertility, miscarriage and short term pregnancy are examples of too little structure and function. The fetus, ovum, sperm, hormones, ovaries, uterus, liver, etc. are built, fueled and cleansed by blood, food, nutrients. Low protein, low fat and high carbohydrate diets, in excess, tend to cause infertility, miscarriage and short term pregnancy.

Low protein and low fat foods, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, beans, nuts and seeds build less blood, structure and function; and are generally used by those suffering excess protein and fat, structure and function, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, cirhois, gout, tumors, cancer, etc. not those with less blood, structure and functuion. **End Summary** Topics: infertility miscarriage short term pregnancy diet nutrition health disease
About the Author:
Richard Heft's new book, Hot and Cold Health is now available through his website, http://wwww.hotandcoldhealth.net, Amazon and can be ordered from any book store.
Hot And Cold Arthritis

The body is not one structure and function but many that work together to produce greater structure and function, health and longevity. All structure and function is largely controlled through diet, as the body digests, transforms food, nutrients into blood into structure into function.

Arthritis is a disease of the joints which not only involve the bones and cartilage but also the ligaments (hold bones together), tendons (attach muscles to ligaments), muscles, nerves and blood.

All structure and function are built, fueled, cleansed, cooled, moistened and warmed by blood. Blood deficiency and stagnation, in the extreme, tend to cause arthritis.

1. COLD ARTHRITIS: A decrease in the supply, amount of blood, tends to cause heat, dryness, inflammation, cold, pain, weakness, numbness and or shaking, depending on the severity of deficiency. It is generally caused by blood deficiency (anemia), poor circulation and or medication. The first body parts to suffer blood deficiency and or poor circulation are the extremities, hands and feet.

Blood deficiency generally tends to occur more so in women than men. Women tend to eat anemic diets, low protein and low fat, high carbohydrate. They also tend to menstruate. **End Summary** Topics: arthritis pain inflammation natural remedies herbs autoimmune
About the Author:
Richard G.
Hot And Cold Weight Loss

The body digests, transforms food, nutrients into blood into structure into function, into health or disease. Digestion is a fire, acids and enzymes, that burns, cooks protein, fat, water, sugar, etc. It also heats, warms the body, especially the lungs.

Weak digestion burns, metabolizes less fat, cholesterol, etc. More tends to collect in the blood (high cholesterol), arteries (arteriosclerosis), liver (cirrhosis), thighs, waist, etc.

Weak digestion burns, metabolizes less water. More tends to collect in the stools (loose, diarrhea), stomach (gurgling), respiratory system (mucous, phlegm, snoring); ears (childhood inner ear infection, loss of hearing); thighs (cellulite), breasts (lump, cyst, fibroid), ankles, arms, (edema) and or reproductive organs (discharges).

Weak digestion burns, metabolizes less sugar. More tends to collect in the blood, which in turn overworks the liver and pancreas (organs that regulate blood sugar) weakening all their functions, including digestion.

Digestion, digestive organs are built, fueled and cleansed by food, nutrients, blood. Protein and fat build and fuel. Water, minerals, sugar, etc. reduce, cleanse, cool and moisten. The correct amount of building and cleansing builds, fuels and maintains the correct amount of digestion. The incorrect amounts, in the extreme, weaken digestion. There are two incorrect amounts:
