Lose Weight by Breaking Free From Emotional Eating

Breaking free from emotional eating to lose weight is to start by understanding that the brain has two built-in directives: pleasure seeking and survival. Which one influences our eating behavior? Both!

The Pleasure-Seeking Program

First, Since you were a child, how many holidays have you celebrated? Add to that the birthdays and other special occasions, such as weddings and anniversaries, and you may total between nine and fourteen per year. All of these occasions brought with them friends, relatives, attention, love, warmth, and what else? You got it--wall to wall food!

What happened when you ate your peas or cleaned your room? You were rewarded with what? Dessert! Or on Sunday Daddy take the entire family to? Dairy Queen?

Little wonder your brain often says, "Eat, it tastes good; you deserve it; you'll feel better; be nice to yourself."

The Survival Program

When you were a baby and you cried-for most any reason-what was the answer? The bottle, right? Anytime you were frustrated or upset, the bottle was there. The result was that you learned an early association with food and frustration. **End Summary** Topics: breaking free from emotional eating breaking eating emotional free from eating emotional stop lose weight
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

Motivational Thoughts Can Give Your Baby a Million Dolllars

Would you like to give your unborn baby, infant, toddler... a million dollars without it costing you a dime? And the time to start is right now. No need to wait for a certain age; start as soon as possible, even before birth.

For your baby, toddler, or child you can use daily affirmations. How can an unborn child benefit from positive affirmations? Answer: Vibrations. What are affirmations? Affirmations are statements with specific vibrations. It is your job, mommy, to use the affirmations for prosperity and abundance; yet you might find that you react to affirmations for prosperity. For instance, the basic affirmation,
I am prosperous.
Simple as it is, you might say,
but I’m not prosperous, we have trouble paying the rent or mortgage. That is a lie.

Four things that are important to know for getting the most from motivational thoughts:

1.	Money affirmations (vibrations) attract success by connecting with Source. Source provides one stream of wellness which contains health, wealth, and prosperity. When we vibrate with source, prosperity is ours.
2.	Affirmations are not about lying to your self. They are about choosing to own words and vibrations. **End Summary** Topics: motivational thoughts stress management training self help audio tapes self improvement self hypnosis motivational tapes subliminal tapes affirmations
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E NGH certified, is a prominent figure in the field of

Ask the Engineer "Gutter Covers vs Cleaning The Gutters?"

When you see the ad promoting gutter covers to end your gutter cleaning chores, think twice. In fact don't think; do research. Leaf guards can range in price from a few hundred dollars upwards to thousands.

Since most gutter covers are known for poor performance, it might make more sense to contract a gutter cleaning service several times a year for between $75 to $100 or so. And if indeed you can find a reputable insured company that will service you it's probably the best way to go. However, that may be a big challenge; for cleaning your gutters or having someone do it, may not be the right answer. Why? Answer: There are several reasons:

1. Not all gutter cleaners do a good job. Three days after Rosemary spent $75 to have her gutters cleaned, it rained and they overflowed. Did enough leaves fall to clog the gutter in three days or did the contractor do a bad job? Answer: No way to tell.

2. Joe had his gutters cleaned and the fellow he hired didn't have any insurance. Big problem! The fellow fell from the roof and sued Joe; **End Summary** Topics: gutter cover gutter guard leaf guard gutter screen gutter protection gutter protector
About the Author:
Find out more about advanced

Emotional Eating to Feed Your Feelings

Emotional eating feeds your feelings. If you munch when you feel upset, down, bored, excited, happy, confused, malaise, uncertain, joyful, bored..., then you are feeding your feelings.

Is it possible for you to think of each of these emotions as a different persona? Sound strange?

Yes, there's Ms. Upset, Mrs. Confusion, Mr. Boredom, Master Joy and they are all searching for a companion to have fun. And they find tons of individuals with whom to play their games.

No wonder that the latest obesity statistics are:
* 58 Million Overweight; 40 Million Obese; 3 Million morbidly Obese
* Eight out of 10 over 25 are overweight
* 78% of American's not meeting basic activity level recommendations
* 25% completely Sedentary
* 76% increase in Type II diabetes in adults 30-40 yrs old since 1990
The reality is that these emotions are having a great time and what does the trapped emotional eater do? Answer: Binge on carbs.

What good does it do to talk about yoga, advice to feel good about you, relationship advice, deep breathing, meditation, priorities, diets, healthy eating habits... when it's the feelings themselves that are the culprit? **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating emotional eating clinic disorder eating emotional stress breaking free from emot
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

What Makes Leaf Guards Work and are They Effective?

All leaf guards and gutter guards work with gravity. The more advanced ones also use the principle of surface adhesion.

Over a hundred different gutter guard devices can be broken down into six different types:

1. Made of metal, wire, or plastic are the screening devices. What happens is that the debris accumulates on top of the screening device gutter guard where it becomes brittle and then is crushed into fine pieces by rain fall. The fine debris is then washed into the gutter and gravity works against the gutter protector system. They require routine maintenance to remove them, clean the gutters, and replace them. It's typical to notice green plants growing through them in the spring.

2. Brushes, filters, and membranes installed in or on existing gutters. In spite of what their advertising want you to believe they ironically are screening devices and work by the principle of gravity alone. Debris falls on them, accumulates, and eventually becomes like a paper mache (a barrier to water getting to the bottom of the gutter). Essentially they are no more effective than screens. One is a brush that has to be removed, cleaned and then reinstalled; **End Summary** Topics: rain gutter guards gutter covers leaf guards gutter protectors gutter protection gutter screens
About the Author:
Find out more about advanced

Stress Management Training--The First Step in Managing Stress

The first step to manage unhealthy stress that you learn in Stress Management training is not Tylenol, Motrin..., but instead deep breathing. Caution, if you suffer from agoraphobia and or anxiety/panic, it is not recommended that you use deep breathing until after you've gotten rid of the anxiety. The reason this is so is because breathing techniques require internal focusing which is not recommended for anxiety sufferers. For them external relaxation techniques are recommended--see the resource box.

In response to stress, it is normal that our breathing is immediately affected. It becomes upper chest and shallow which is actually part of the fight or flight reaction. Sighs are often a tense upper chest breadth.

We generally make basic mistakes in breathing:
• We become so consumed with our appearance that we learn to hold in our stomachs which greatly limits our breathing to the upper chest.
•	When we take a deep breadth, we force our lungs to expand against our chest putting chest muscles in spasm. This can create chest and back pain.

Life is about stress and as we adapt to higher and higher levels of stress from one year to the next, our normal breathing becomes tense. **End Summary** Topics: managing stress stress relief stress reduction stress management technique effects of stress feeling stressed yoga breathing breathing breathing exer
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

Emotional Eating can Ruin Your Life

Emotional eating can ruin your life with dozens of extra pounds. Emotional Overeating can affect your self worth causing you to contribute to low self esteem, constantly sell yourself short, and miss out on a social life.

The good news is that when you know how to deal with emotions effectively, emotional overeating can be eliminated and those extra pounds gone bye-bye.

The first thing to know is that there are three types of excess eating. The first type is habitual eating, the second is emotional eating, and the third is self defeative eating.

What do we do with this information? The first step is to assume the temptation is habit related. Eating out of habit is being at a certain place at a certain time--like stopping at McDonalds every morning. The best way of handling habitual eating is awareness. For instance, a basic thinking technique wherein you ask yourself if you really want to stop.." Your answer is either "Yes, I want to stop, " or, "No, let's skip it."

A "no" response means that you skip food meaning that it was habitual eating that you bypassed. **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating emotional eating clinic disorder eating emotional stress breaking free from emot
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

Sleep Aid for Children -- Reduce Anxiety in Children

True--there is a natural non-chemical sleep aid for children. Moments that you spend with your child before bedtime can be very precious. Those precious moments pass too fast for "Mommy, mommy, I don't want to go to bed."

The whining goes on and on. You begin to feel like a slave and your child's bedtime becomes stress time. Isn't it supposed to be some time for you?

Why does you child make the evening so stressful? Can't he/she just go off to sleep?

My son who is not twenty had sleeping difficulties when he was two years of age. In part I'm sure it was from the confusion of his mother and me being separated. Kids get stressed too.

I relished bed-time as an opportunity to tuck him in and read him a story, but then it became two, three and four stories and he still was wide awake.

Being a hypnotist I decided experiment. I spun my son the story of Rip Van Winkle. His eyes were closed within five minutes and they stayed closed. **End Summary** Topics: sleep aid for children reduce anxiety in children relaxation aid for children
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a is a

Are Gutter Guards Worth the Investment?

Getting a gutter cover installed, can get expensive when you consider necessary costs as in:
1. Protecting your interests as in liability and work-man's comp insurance.
2. Marketing costs as in the cost of home shows, paid advertising, yellow pages, google ad-words which can all add up to thousands of dollars every month.
3. Cost of sales in the form of sale commissions which is usually a significant percentage of the investment.
4. Trained and specialized labor to install the system correctly.
5. Dealing with a professional contractor with an office and office help with a reputation as opposed to someone operating out of a truck.

When you add all these costs up (depending on the area of the country) it can add up to thousands of dollars to have gutter protection installed so it makes sense to make sure the product will do its job.

What makes a gutter protector worth this kind of investment? Answer: Keeping the homeowner off the roof can make the investment well worth while. Consider this: a hospital visit to mend broken bones can range from a few thousand to $100,000 depending on the complexity of the damage. **End Summary** Topics: rain gutter covers gutter guards leaf guards gutter protectors gutter protection leaf guard gutter cover gutter guard gutter screens clogged gutter
About the Author:
Photos of various

Lose Weight by Breaking Free From Emotional Eating

Breaking Free From Emotional Eating to lose weight is to start by understanding that the brain has two built in directives: pleasure seeking and survival. Which one influences our eating behavior? Both!

The Pleasure-Seeking Program

First, Since you were a child, how many holidays have you celebrated? Add to that the birthdays and other special occasions, such as weddings and anniversaries, and you may total between eight and fifteen per year. All of these occasions brought with them friends, relatives, attention, love, warmth, and what else? You got it--wall to wall food!

What happened when you ate your peas or cleaned your room? You were rewarded with what? Dessert! Or Sundays would be celebrated with Daddy taking the family, where? Dairy Queen?

Little wonder your brain often says, "Eat, you'll feel better; be nice to yourself; it tastes good; you deserve it."

The Survival Program

When you were a baby and you cried-for most any reason-what was the answer? The bottle, right? Anytime you were frustrated or upset, the bottle was there. The result ended in you learning an early connection between food and frustration. **End Summary** Topics: breaking free from emotional eating breaking eating emotional free from eating emotional stop lose weight
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

The Truth About Gutter Protectors and Leaf Guards

All gutter covers and leaf guards are not created equal. A gutter guard or gutter protector has to do three basic tasks:
1. Collect all the water
2. Keep out leaves and debris from the gutter
3. Be easily maintained easily by the homeowner.

Except for one product, in mild-to-heavy debris conditions all gutter guards fail to do all three tasks effectively--read on.

All solid top gutter guards work by the principal of surface adhesion. They generally have a solid top and a curved front surface that leads the water downward and into the gutter.

It makes sense to do some research before buying gutter protection. A product that really does its job could cost thousands of dollars. But in the case of gutter covers, more money doesn't necessarily mean a better performing product. Remember that salesmen are good at telling you what they think you want to hear.

The bottom line is that choosing the wrong product can be a night mare. You might end up with birds living in your gutters and if they clog, you won't be able to get into your gutters to clean them or worse yet, a roof leak. **End Summary** Topics: rain gutter covers leaf guards gutter guards gutter protection gutter protectors leaf guard gutters
About the Author:
Find out more about advanced

The job of a gutter cover or leaf guard is to collect all the water and keep out debris. A gutter guard that really does its job--keeps the homeowner off the roof and the gutter clean and free flowing--can sell for thousands of dollars so it makes sense to make sure you're getting what you paid for.

Gutters are usually of two basic configurations:
1. Straight.
2. With inside or outside corners.

If you have a configuration involving inside corners where two roof lines come together or there are dormers creating a valley flowing into a gutter, you'll want to pay particular attention to this article since out of a hundred different manufacturers there is only one gutter protection system that can handle water flowing from valley configurations.

Since manufacturers of all gutter guards claim that there's no overshoot, this article is about which ones don't even get the first job done on straight gutters--the designs to definitely avoid. Even some gutter screens don't collect all the water and overshoot. And that sounds impossible because some of them have fairly large openings in the top flat surface. Why? **End Summary** Topics: rain gutter cover gutter guard leaf guard gutter protector gutter protection gutter screen
About the Author:
Find out more about advanced

All gutter guards, gutter protectors, and leaf guards clog. But hold on. Whereas all of them clog requiring maintenance, one is easy with which to maintain.

First, the terms gutter guards, gutter protectors, and leaf guards are basically interchangeable. Some companies advertise screens as gutter guards and that's just a misnomer. Leaf guards, gutter covers, and gutter protectors all characteristically all have a solid top surface.

Basically there are six different types of gutter devices:

1. Screens. There are many different types-flat with all types of openings (round, square, louvers…) made of plastic, wire, and metal. Some disguise themselves with steps in the screening and one even has troughs in it.

2. Filters, membranes, and brushes installed on or in existing gutters.

3. Flat solid top with rounded front nose--fin type. And there's one in which in addition to the fin also has small openings on the top--basically a screen in conjunction with a fin)

4. Flat solid top with rounded front nose and a trough--fin type with trough.

5. Rain dispersal and the flipping type of gutters. One (not yet on the market) that makes a larger than life opening in the gutter for larger than life downspout attachment. **End Summary** Topics: rain gutter guard leaf guard gutter cover gutter protection gutter protector gutter screen
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E.
The Truth Behind Emotional Eating

You can only conquer emotional eating when you know how to handle emotions. The problem is that we label emotions as good or bad. And even the emotions we label as good--like happiness and joy--are often an excuse to eat.

The problem is that we understand so little about emotions. In fact, most people have no idea as to where they come from. That is, what at any moment makes one feel good or bad?

The following may provide some insight: For instance, you have a guy driving to work who gets cut off by another driver. He gets angry and upset; his blood pressure rises and he's thinking that most people get their driving licenses at Sears and Roebuck. Most of his day is ruined.

Then there's another fellow who has the same thing happen to him. As he swerves and misses the accident, he's happy.

Why is the first fellow upset and the second fellow happy when the same thing happened to both of them?

The answer is that it's because of their expectations. **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating emotional eating clinic disorder eating emotional stress breaking free from emot
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

The History of Gutter Covers

Man has been inventing and reinventing rain gutter covers since gutters were invented. Initially gutter screens were devised to keep out debris. They started as a flat metal screen and have evolved into plastic screens with square or round openings. Some gutter screens are arched, newer plastic ones have troughs.

What all these screen devices have in common is that they have their openings on the top portion of the device. While they do a pretty good job of keeping out fresh new debris, they all tend to hold the debris. As the debris dries it becomes brittle and is then pulverized by a subsequent rain fall at which time it enters the gutter in significant quantity as to clog the gutter. One has a bowed top with a hinge for lifting the gutter screen to clean the gutter--problem is that the bowed top captures and holds debris such that when it is opened, more debris falls into the gutter further aggravating the situation. Basic screen designs were invented in the early part of the 1900's

In the mid 1900's two basic solid top rain gutter covers were invented. **End Summary** Topics: rain gutter covers rain gutter guards leaf guards copper gutter covers clogged gutters
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E.

Lazy tongue or twisted tongue and stuttering can greatly be improved with basic hypnosis and stress management techniques.

I coined the term "lazy tongue," which basically speaks for itself. When the affected person attempts to speak, it seems that the tongue is lazy and twisted. It simply doesn't move fast enough to enunciate what is spoken resulting in slurred speech and or stuttering. It often feels as though the tongue is enlarged and is easy to bite--rather painful.

There is a difference between lazy tongue and stuttering. Usually stuttering is not associated with a lazy tongue, but more often is associated with excessive tension in the mouth. Whereas one can begin suffering from lazy tongue at any age, stuttering is usually left over from child hood.

Yet, the issues with both lazy tongue and stuttering are similar. Stuttering is often associated with a poor self image resulting from a conditioning experience of an embarrassing nature as a youngster, or having an overbearing and or critical parent. Lazy tongue, on the other hand, is usually the result of a major stressor such as loss of a marriage, death of a loved one, loss of a job... **End Summary** Topics: lazy tongue tension in tongue stuttering twisted tongue slurred speech stress management technique stress management hypnosis building self esteem bui
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E NGH certified, is a prominent figure in the field of

Finding Lost Items with Hypnosis

Among the numerous uses for hypnosis, one is for finding lost items. Whether its been recently lost or it has been missing for years, you may have consciously forgotten where the item is, but your subconscious remembers. However please note that if what has been lost fell out of your pocket, then neither the conscious or subconscious mind knows where it is in which case this technique will not work.

The first goal is to reduce any anxiety that may be present concerning finding lost items. Anxiety is present because the item is usually of significant monetary or personal value. Imagine a doorway cluttered with furniture to the ceiling. Even though the door may be open, the furniture obstructs the door way so you can not see or get through the doorway. In order to either see inside or go inside, it's important to remove the furniture. The furnture represents anxiety.

To reduce anxiety, it's important that the accompanying hypnosis utilizes relaxation. The relaxation enables one to put the item in a more relaxed perspective (getting rid of the furniture) so the subconscious can be accessed--see or go through the doorway. **End Summary** Topics: finding lost items find lost items anxiety reduce anxiety hypnosis
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a is a

Sci Fi Skin Parasites

Skin Parasites that itch relentlessly, rashes and skin lesions that never heal, and Lyme Disease--and they are all connected. What's more is that they can be caught simply by sitting in an infected airplane seat, or by trying on clothes at the boutique that have been infected. And the disappointing news is that doctors can't diagnose them nor do they know how to treat them. In fact, the CDC (Center for Disease Control in Atlanta) doesn't even know what they are. It sounds like an episode out of the Twilight Zone or for that matter it could be a Sci Fi movie about skin parasites taking over the world. There are those that even suspect that these skin parasites are a product of some kid of germ warfare.

In the mid 90's I was pulling a vine from a tree in my backyard. As I dislodged the vine from the tree I noticed a cloud of dust descending from the tree onto me. I disposed of the vine, took a shower and thought nothing more of it. Four days later my significant other and I began itching relentlessly all over our bodies. **End Summary** Topics: skin parasites Morgellons Collembola spring tails Strongyloides Stercoralis lyme disease
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E. is author of the e-book

Emotional Eating

Do you control emotional eating or does emotional eating control you? The secret to control emotional eating is to recognize and feel the emotion. Sounds easy but... the truth is that most of us are emotional cripples.

We try to ignore our feelings, pretend that they don't bother us, pretend they don't exist, think that feeling certain emotions are beneath us, believe that feeling certain emotions will adversely affect our health...

Emotional eating is the answer to any emotion whether it be boredom, upset, anger, frustration, confusion, uncertainty, depression, happiness, excitement, joy, malaise...

To get to the heart of allowing you to feel an emotion write an affirmation about the emotion such as:
"I like to feel bored." Then write down all the reasons why you feel the statement is untrue or a lie. You might have four or five reasons.

Do this for every emotion--yes even happiness--and you'll have discovered all the reasons that really keep you from feeling the emotion.

You then need to challenge each reason. For instance, "I like to feel angry."

Your responses might be:
• "Anger is beneath me. **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating eating emotional stress breaking free from emotional eating
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

The Truth to Conquer Emotional Eating

The Truth to conquer emotional eating is to manage your emotions. Yet managing emotions is not such an easy thing to do. With all the practice we as humans have had--that's centuries and centuries, we're still pretty much in the dark ages.

And it just doesn't make sense for we are emotional beings. In fact our limbic emotional brain was developed before the reticular analytical brain.

What is known is that all through out history, man has tried to "control" his emotions. The reticular portion of the brain has attempted to suppress the emotional limbic brain. There hasn't been to much gray about it--you're either in control or you're not. So it's been more of a black and white thing.

One way to control emotions is to deny them. It must be from the Victorian age where everyone was in a looking glass being observed by everyone else. God forbid an emotional outburst. It would be associated with evilness.

Where ever it came from, i.e. the poor handling of emotion, the result is that in this century of advanced technological accomplishments, most of us are still emotional cripples. **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating stop emotional eating eating emotional stress breaking free from emotional eatin
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

To conquer emotional eating it's important to understand the difference between eating out of habit and emotional eating.

The easiest way to understand eating out of habit is to relate with the person who stops at the bagel shop every morning on his/her way to work. It's a habit. Or the person who comes home in the afternoon, walks through the living room into the kitchen, and opens the refrigerator door. It's a habit.

Break the habit and break the behavior. Take a different route to work. Find another activity in the afternoon to replace coming home. Or, if you do come home in the afternoon climb in the back window instead of walking through the front door.

Emotional eating is not so easy to identify for most of us have more training in ignoring our feelings that we do in acknowledging them.

So how do you know if it's emotional eating? You know by using the process of elimination. First you use a technique to handle habitual eating and if after doing so, you end up eating, then you know it's emotional eating. **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating emotional eating clinic disorder eating emotional stress breaking free from emot
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

There are a few basic tips to conquer emotional eating. However, most people think in terms of the rigors of dieting, doing without, suffering, and pain. There certainly is no pleasure in that kind of thinking. It's important to realize that if you're only twenty or thirty pounds overweight, most likely you will be able to consume the same quantity of food as you now consume on a daily basis when you are at your goal weight and stay there. How you most likely got where you are is from overeating during holidays which from now on will be accompanied by a red flag in your thinking. Consider that you've gained two-five pounds every Christmas holiday and it doesn't take too many years too accumulate fifteen or twenty pounds. Add in a few other holidays during the year such as Thanksgiving, special occasions such as birthdays, weddings… and fifteen pounds can be acquired in a single year.

However, if you're a hundred pounds or more overweight, a lot of what you eat is to sustain that level of weight and when you drop your weight your eating habits will be greatly changed. **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating emotional eating clinic disorder eating emotional stress breaking free from emot
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

Feeding Your Feelings with Emotional Eating

What do feelings and emotional eating have to do with each other? Answer: Everything! When we speak of feelings we usually mean how we emotionally feel. The problem is that we have lots of practice ignoring feelings and little practice really dealing with them. For instance, how do many people deal with boredom? They fight it, right?

Have you ever heard anyone suggest embracing boredom? No, it's easier to feed boredom with food. That way boredom stays buried and the problem instead of being identified as boredom is eating too much.

Then there's frustration, upset, anger, happiness, excitement... If one is a at loss as to what to do with these feelings, then eating is the answer.

Truth is that you can have feelings and be free of eating them. The key is to move beyond the temptation to eat and identify the feeling.

How does this work? You have a temptation to grab something to eat and you know that you've already had enough to eat for the day. Normally, you'd do some mind talk like, "I shouldn't eat that, but I'll just have a little--how can it hurt? I'll make up for it later or tomorrow. **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating emotional eating clinic disorder eating emotional stress breaking free from emot
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

Emotional Eating and Binge Eating--the Connection

Emotional Eating is the association with food and emotions. They can be pleasant or unpleasant. The quantity of food consumed can be small or large.

Binge eating is related with a large quantity of emotional eating-akin to stuffing one's face-finishing the whole bag of potato chips or the quart of ice cream. Binge eating is also usually connected with a non nutritious source of food.

However, most people do not understand that their eating is emotionally based. They just think that they have an eating problem. Or they have come to accept that they are genetically predisposed to overeating. Thus overeating is just some vague problem.

Of course they know the answer to the problem is to cut down on the quantity of food they consume. But, the only approach they know is to look in the direction of diets for a diet does cut down on the quantity of food.

And of course there are so many different diets-all aimed at a different theory to reduce hunger and make dieting palatable.

There are two basic mistakes with dieting that leads eventually to the binge that ends the diet. **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating emotional eating clinic disorder binge eating eating emotional stress breaking f
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent

Conquer Emotional Eating and Stop Wrecking Your Life

To conquer emotional eating is the secret to stop wrecking your life for every time you go to put on your clothes, the uncomfortable reminder of those excess pounds is there like a wrecking ball flying through space and hitting you square in the stomach. But what do you do when that ice cream sundae cries for consumption? And the little voice inside your head asks, “What's one more ice cream cone going to hurt? After all, you haven't had that much to eat today!”

Then there's that other little voice that mumbles, “you're not really serious about losing weight,” and leaves a deposit of some guilt for future put downs.

The internal argument is totally about the ice cream cone and nothing about what's going on emotionally. And what's going on emotionally is totally what the ice cream is all about.

What might the emotional factor be? It could be any number of things and it's usually connected with events in one's life that works out the way we desire them to or not. **End Summary** Topics: emotional eating conquer emotional eating overcoming emotional eating emotional eating clinic disorder eating emotional stress breaking free from emot
About the Author:
Richard Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., NGH certified is a prominent
