Sonic & Mario team up success has confirmed the healthy side of competition and sportsmanship. Nintendo and Sega, had worked before during the F-Zero GX, and next-Gen platform development. The idea of the Mario and Sonic team up was result of meeting between Yuji Naka, and Shigru Miyamoto the design heads of Mario and Sonic in 2005. Few people could have envisioned Grand Theft Auto 4 when Pong was released, and yet all modern video games owe a great debt to their predecessors. Video games have come a long way since the first arcade games, so much so that they are almost unrecognizable. In today's game world, it's easy to forget that once upon a time, Nintendo ruled the video game industry with an iron fist. Before Sony and Microsoft ever thought about making video games, Nintendo was dominating the industry with technical innovation, a 3rd party monopoly, and colorful, flagship characters. Blanching is a technique to keep vegetables crisp and tender. This method means dipping food into salted boiling water to moderately cook it and then immediately cooling it. Blanching lightly cooks only the skin of the vegetable. Blanching slows or stops the action of enzymes which is continued even after harvest of vegetables.
