Wordpress Plugin Playground

Today we upgraded to the latest version of Wp Super Cache – which I think is just great. It is pretty tried and trued and has saved us a lot of head aches in other projects.
We are also running w3 total cache, but experimenting with using its built in memcached funcationalities to cache database queries.
Just uploaded WP Minify as well as a test to combine and minify js/css files before sending them to users. I’m not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing yet. Before we were running just a minify function of the w3 total cache.
Lets see how it goes, thoughts comments?

Thanks… I think I’ll upload the WP Minify.
I just got Minify, it works very nicely so thank you for recommending.
It is realy great.I wil also upload this wp minify
I use blogger, would any of you suggest WP over blogger? Thanks in advance
@jason – its really up to you
@Jason,
To be frank, there is no comparison between blogger and wordpress. Wp (self hosted) just wins in every aspect, except that Blogger is free to host.
Staying on topic, the wp cache plugin has saved me from many warnings(and possibly a ban) that I should have got from my host if it weren’t there. I still remember those days when my articles were dugg, that sudden increase in traffic, ohh thanks to super cache plugin. And jason, you don’t have anything like that for Blogger. Google can take your site down for any reason, you have no control at all.
Yes, it really seems to be better!
As google have began to rank sites on speed of download, Wp Super Cache will help in download times.
Good article. I always learn a lot from your posts and really appreciate it! I wish you a Happy New Year. Regards, Martin
I just recently switched one of my personal blogs from the Google blogger platform to WP and have been in search of some plugins. I am glad I was looking at your recent comments after being led to your site via another article or I would never have found this gem. Looking forward to uploading and testing this tomorrow, thank you for the tip.
