Nice article there. When I started my internet career, as a paid forum poster, I thought that forums are best way to promote sites and to gain good position in SERPS against keywords. My perception was totally wrong, Blogs are much much better and they are very easy to maintain.

Good advice. I think an interesting blog also helps to sell products. You read the blog and afterward you believe the author is the expert and you are ready to buy. If the content sucks, then you don’t finish reading and you don’t buy.
