I read that post too, but I’d like to see more data before making judging the usefulness. Test about 100 or 1000 different keywords over a 6 month period, then we will know if it’s useful.
That’s why I try to use multiple sources to research keywords. Its general knowledge that none of the tools display accurate data and should only be used to compare volume, ie, one keyword gets more search volume then another.

I found the tool practically useless. They have changed a few things which doesn’t give much hope.
If you have a page that’s Number 1 on Google, it’s easy to see which tool is more accurate. I have few, and amount of traffic matches numbers given by Google Keyword Tool. It’s not 100% correct, but that is expected.
