  1. You almost made me cry. My own mother is now in a nursing home because of Alzheimer’s. It is so sad to watch her fade away. We so much wish we could help her and do something but are totally helpless in anything we do. We would do anything to bring back her memory, but so far don’t know of anything that would do that. We take her back “home” to the farm once in a while because she keeps wanting to go, but once there she’s just as ready to leave. I’m sure it’s because it is just not the same as when my late father and the family were there. She wants it to be like it was then, but we’ve all grown up and gone away. It’s just sad.
