eBay e-Class - Is this the Best Way to Learn About eBay?

By:

For many people interested in making money from eBay, the natural place to get the information they're seeking is from ebooks.

I've never examined this, but I would bet there are thousands of ebooks on the internet about eBay.

Whilst ebooks can be a very convenient way of conveying information, they're not for everyone. For some people, simply reading page after page isn't always the most effective way to convey information.

What alternatives are available to those wishing to learn more about eBay?

First, there is eBay itself which has copious Help screens covering every topic you can imagine about eBay. Although comprehensive, the big drawback in that locating the precise piece of information you're seeking can be difficult and time consuming to track down.

Next, eBay also has several videos available covering the basics of using their system. These can be highly useful if you find it easier to learn by looking, as opposed to learning by reading.

The problem with ebooks, and with eBay's own information provision is that they are never organised to answer specific questions.

For example, have you ever wished you could find answers easily to some of the following questions about eBay:

What exactly should I sell on eBay?

How much profit should I expect to make?

What are the hottest products on eBay at the moment?

How can I generate my own product?

How do I spy on my eBay competitors?

Can I find out what buyers want but can't find on eBay?

Can I sell obsolete products for profit on eBay?

How can I sell in bulk on eBay?

Can I sell more than one item to the same buyer?

What is the best, a traditional auction or "Buy It Now" listing?

What starting price should I use?

What is the best auction duration to use?

What is the best day of the week and time of day to start my auction?

How important are pictures to my auction?

What should I include in my auction description?

Why is the correct auction title so important?

How can I avoid getting negative feedback?

What can I do if the successful bidder buyer won't pay me?

What are the best payment types to accept on my auctions?

What is eBay's "Cross-Promotion" tool?

What is an eBay upsell?

If you are prepared to wade through an ebook, or spend hours or even days on eBay's Help and video services, you may be able to find answers to some of those questions.

Another source of eBay education may be a better solution. Online training. This is available from several sources, and tends to be organised around answering questions.

Also, as the process is interactive, you can always ask questions of the training provider.

If you're seeking answers to your eBay questions, it might pay you to investigate the online training option.

These people get their products at wholesale prices, and then sell them to their customers at marked-up prices. The difference between the wholesale price and the marked-up price is the retailer profit. The idea of wholesaling becomes even more attractive when drop shipping is involved. In drop shipping, retailers just place their orders to their suppliers on behalf of their customers.
