Betting Bots Do They Work

There has been a couple of news reports recently how people are using something called bots to win money at online gambling. So, is this true and what are bots' and what do they do?
A bot is simply a computer program that carries out a set of instructions that a user inputs. That is what a bot is its most basic form. There are bots for many different uses, for just about anything you think can be automated.
That's why bots are perfect for betting as gambling often involves repetitive tasks that can be automated. There isn't just one type of betting bot there are hundreds on the market. Many are sold through software vendors and there are many more that are not for sale. They are used by private individuals or groups.
So they question people are desperate to know is do they work? Do people earn loads of money with these programs? They answer is yes they can make money. Although, the program has to have a sound reason behind it and a good method. As the program is just carrying out a set of instructions. If you start out with a bad idea of what you want the bot to do before you get it programmed it will not produce profits for you just lose you cash.
Three betting bot examples
Poker bots - these programs are very popular for people that play poker. They range from telling you what chance you have winning the hand, to actually playing the hands for you.
Horse racing bots - there are many horse racing bots that run on the betting exchanges. Many people us them for in-running horse racing.
Greyhound bots - these programs often lay the outsider in the greyhound dog races. They can win often but the loss recovery they have built in can make it dangerous and you can lose big money.
One of the most popular are for gambling bots is programs that work the online betting exchanges like Betfair. Most of these programs are run on the horse racing markets and bet millions each day. It has got to the stage that some people are joking there isn't anyone betting without bots on the betting exchanges these days.
So in summary betting bots aren't the pots of gold they may be made out to be, but a useful tool to improve your betting.
