Wow Warrior Tank: Leveling Your Wow Warrior Tank (level 12)

By: James Pilgrim

Okay, originally you should have had this quest, the two we mentioned above and one that takes you back to Stormwind. The only way you are going to be able to complete The Peoples Militia or Patrolling Westfall is by having someone else help you through it. Hopefully at this point you have come into contact with several other players in the World of Warcraft realm you are on, but if you want to do them solo then you will have to wait a bit.

In the meantime, go ahead and try to take on the Wanted: Hogger quest. If you remember this is only a suggested level 11+. Since you just pulled off a great feat by completing the first part of The Peoples Militia, your WoW Warrior Tank should be able to handle this upcoming quest. Unfortunately it is 800 yards away, but it would take longer to reach level 12 by trying to take on the tougher quests. In fact, we will give you a few hints on how to beat this without taking too much of your time. Listen, we are kidding. You need to go to Stormwind.

Go to Stormwind First

The trick to reaching level 12 in a timely fashion is by heading to Stormwind and delivering Lewis Note. When you receive 420XP for just flying there, it is definitely a nice help towards reaching the 8700XP. When you are finished, head to the Pig & Whistle Tavern (do not forget to accept the quest first though) in Old Town. Here you will find a man by the name of Harry Burlguard. He will then send you over to Bartleby who is hanging out at the bar.

Okay, so it was only 90XP, but the Beat Bartleby quest will be ready for you to conquer. Needless to say, you have to beat up Bartleby for him to respect your WoW Warrior Tank abilities. You will receive 210XP and another quest right inside the Pig & Whistle Tavern. You must take Bartlebys mug to Harry Burlguard even though he could have probably done it himself. Finishing this up will add another 440XP, plus new abilities.

Yes, this is one of the greatest parts to the World of Warcraft game, because normally you would not know it is coming. In all you will learn 3 new abilities (Defensive Stance, Taunt, Sunder Armor). When you are finished you will notice that Osric gave you a crate to take to the Gryphon Master in Stormwind (Dungar Longdrink). This will give you another 210XP and give you an additional quest that takes you right back to Westfall.

However, you may want to make sure you do not have any new WoW Warrior Tank abilities available. If you do make sure you get them before heading back to Sentinel Hill. You can find all the Warrior Trainers hiding out in the Command Center. When you reach Old Town you can walk right past the Protective Hide area and to the right will be the Warrior Trainer area. Just make sure you take a left as soon as you walk up the first flight of steps.

Back to Westfall

As soon as you get back to Westfall, head up to the see Quartermaster Lewis again. When you complete this quest your WoW Warrior Trainer will gain a nice lump some of 1050XP. Unfortunately this still leaves you with 8 bars remaining before you reach level 12. However, as you head back towards Goldshire to take on Hogger, you will soon realize all the XP you gain just from defeating the Outrunners and Runts there.
If you truly want to know the way to defeat Hogger at a level 11 WoW Warrior Tank, then read closely. The first thing you have to do is locate him. You will actually find him roaming in various areas, but we have never seen him in one of the groups camped nearby. One thing to keep in mind though is there are always other Riverpaw roaming around. This means they will sneak up on you while fighting Hogger and eventually kill you.

In order to make it easier, kill these annoyances first, then take on Hogger. The best weapons to use against him are the Hamstring, Bloodrage, and Rend. No matter what you decide to use yourself, make sure you at least slow his actions with your Hamstring ability. When he is finally taken care of you will receive 200XP. Marshal Dughan will be waiting for you in Goldshire, along with 875XP. So what once was 8 bars before hitting level 12, now you should be down to about 1.

Getting the Last Bar

Since Marshal Dughan does not have any other quests available, you will be happy to know that Smith Argus has one for you in the Blacksmithing area. Elmores Task is its name and you must travel back to Stormwind and find him in the Dwarven District. Its only 110XP so you will have to either kill enough enemies to level up, or pick between the Marshal Haggard quest and/or Stormpikes Delivery. We suggest you just kill a few things considering you only need a few hundred to reach level 12.
