Wow Warrior Tank: Leveling Your Wow Warrior Tank (7 To 8)

By: James Pilgrim

Your first stop is going to be meeting up with Marshal Dughan, who can be found right outside of the Blacksmithing area. Unfortunately the journey is a long one and if you are looking to save time, be sure to stay on the road during your hike to this little town. However, be sure to speak with Falkhaan Isenstrider on your way. He will give you an additional quest to speak with Innkeeper Farly at the Lion's Pride Inn, which is in Goldshire.

Let the Leveling Continue (Level 7 & 8)(3600XP & 4500XP)

It's always nice to start off the next step with a completed quest. Even though Report To Marshal Dughan only gives you 230XP, you are well on your way of reaching level 7. The only problem with Goldshire is it seems everyone that offers quests, only give them out one at a time. Marshal Dughan will have one named The Fargodeep Mine. One thing we should mention before you go, is to buff up your WoW Warrior Tank a bit.

If you head into the Blacksmithing area you will be able to purchase a lot of new gear. Hopefully you have enough money, but if not then you'll have to wait a little longer. Worst case scenario, you will be able to repair any armour you have on and make your WoW Warrior Tank healthy again. Once you've finished this just head to the Lion's Pride Inn and speak with the Innkeeper. Oddly enough you will even gather 110XP from Innkeeper Farley.

Now it is time to pick up as many quests as possible before venturing down to The Fargodeep Mine. In this case you will have 3 available that are all suggested at level 7 (Gold Dust Exchange, Kobold Candles, The Fargodeep Mine). Since each one of these are in the same place, you will love the rewards after you finish completing each one as a WoW Warrior Tank. The Gold Dust Exchange will hand you 625XP, 480XP for The Fargodeep Mine, and last but not least you will receive another 480XP for The Kobold Candles.

Hopefully you found yourself eclipsing level 7 like we did at this point. Another thing to note at this point is both Marshal Dughan and William Pestler have given you another quest each (The Jasperlode Mine, Shipments to Stormwind). While the shipments will be easy, The Jasperlode Mine is suggested for players who have reached level 10. Then of course you have an easy quest in between that sends you from Remy TWO TIMES, to Marshal Dughan. It will give you an additional 85XP, plus another quest (Further Concerns).

Running Takes Time

You will notice that each one of these three quests are in completely opposite directions, so choose wisely. We suggest heading to Stormwind first. The biggest reason is because this only requires a level 7 proficiency, while the other two are level 10. Once complete, start making your way back towards the two higher level quests. Unfortunately you can't fly yet, but you will be there before you know it.

When you make your way back to the Stormwind entrance, your Quest Helper will acknowledge that The Jasperlode Mine is the closest quest available. While this may be true, just keep in mind that it's almost 900 yards away. Also, if you are using the Carbonite Quest Helper make sure you don't head back towards Northshire Abbey or else you will run into the mountain.

Hitting Level 8

In order to reach level 8, your WoW Warrior Tank will want to complete The West Garrison Needs Help quest. You will only receive 210XP, but there are additional quests in the area (Riverpaw Knoll Bounty & Huge Knoll Claw). The only problem is they suggest you be level 10 or 11 on each account. The best way to start is by killing the wolves around the area and just work your way towards level 8 through killing your enemies.

However, if you find your WoW Warrior Tank to the test you should just try to take on the Riverpaws. If you take a look at your XP bar you should have only a couple bars left until level 8. Killing around 7 to 8 Riverpaws at 85 to 88XP apiece should do the trick. Then again that all depends on whether or not you've been taking our advice here.
