Wireless Home Security System-how It Works

The home security industry is a huge multi billion dollar a year operation on a local and national level. There is no doubt you an spend a lot of money on home security and there is absolutely no doubt that there are a lot of bad guys looking for places to make their next victim of either a burglary or home invasion.

Statistics show that a home burglary happens every 15 seconds. Police tell us that 90% of all burglaries are preventable. 33% of burglaries happen by unlawful entry thru an unlocked door or window and 62% happen by forced entry.

One out of six homes get's burglarized in a year. So if you stay in your home for 6 years chance are real good you will be a victim. So what can you do? Without breaking the bank there is a wireless home security system that can go a long way to keeping you safe.

The wireless home security system is inexpensive and easy to use. It can protect your home, office or business and requires a land line. It includes one base unit with AC adaptor, one window or door sensor with a wireless transmission range of 250 feet, 1 motion detector with a range of 25 feet and one remote control with a feature for arming/disarming the unit. Extra sensors are available.

If motion is detected or a door or window is opened an alarm sounds, a signal is sent to the base unit and up to five pre set (by you) phone numbers are dialed. Those numbers can be cell phone numbers.

The person answering the phone will hear a prerecorded message (done by you) then can listen in on the room, broadcast their voice or disarm the system. If there is no response, or if the person doesn't disarm the system, the next number on the list is dialed.

The unit can be operated while you are at home by disabling the motion sensor, just using the door sensor. This can give you at home or away from home protection.
