Use This Key To Unlock Your Creative Problem Solving Skills

By: Mercedes Oestermann van Essen

You are what you think and your thoughts make your world. It really does not come any simpler than that. Alas, do you really know your thoughts and how they arise?

Can you truthfully say that you know which beliefs and values are your own and which ones you have inadvertently inherited through conditioning? You had better find out, because this knowledge will help you to solve problems quickly and creatively.

Maybe, you never examined your beliefs and values deeply. Most of us have not. When you do, you may be in for a big surprise. You will discover that the many thoughts, beliefs and behaviours you cherished as yours belong to someone else. This is what normally happens when people take steps to discover their authentic selves on the way to finding more effective and creative problem solving techniques.

It is hard to be honest with oneself. In fact, it is probably fair to say that it is the most difficult thing to do out of all the challenges we face on the path of personal growth. Somehow, we are scared of digging too deep. It feels uncomfortable and we are scared about what we may find. We fear that we may lose a part of our identity, a precious part of what we have come to see as essential to our survival in an ever faster changing world.

Such self manipulation, done subconsciously of course, because you are not aware of what you are doing, creates vast energy blockages. The illusion will stop you from solving problems easily and finding the lasting solutions of which progress consists. If you can grasp this enormously important concept and open your mind to looking inside and critically evaluating the values and beliefs you think are the essence of you, you are going to create a vast energetic shift.

This realisation could represent your first most important step on the journey of self actualisation. It could also be your first stepping stone to solving your problems creatively, as you are stepping out of your old mental box and begin embrace new mental horizons.

Just think about this: How can you solve your problems if you are acting on the values and beliefs of a third party, without realising it. Many of us do and then wonder that problem solving remains wishful thinking. You need to be absolutely clear in your mind about what it is you really want.

If you are totally clear about your core values you have overcome an obstacle that hitherto kept you in a mental cage. Techniques like EFT and Micro EFT which are based on energy psychology are invaluable tools for your problem solving skills.

You really should take the time to learn these techniques, if you have not already done so. Good problem solving derives from inner freedom and inner freedom is obtained through clearing the neuro pathways of anything that is not part of your true self. Remember: It is through your thoughts that you create your world and solve your problems.
