Unique Baby Clothes - Shop Online For A Large Selection Of Baby Clothes

I recently moved to a neighborhood with lots of children and few shopping opportunities. My son's friends have often been seen wearing the same shirt that I laundered yesterday for him. However, he doesn't care if every boy wears the exact thing he is wearing. He doesn't even notice. As his mother, it drives me crazy. Maybe I should not be concerned nor too into children's fashion when each day the clothes are thrown in the laundry spotted with food or mud. I cannot help desiring my kids to avoid the "clone" look of the majority.

My daughter totally supports me in trying to find ways to help her clothes achieve an atypical but stylish look. I am a novice seamstress but I try my best at tailoring. It amazes me how having clothes fit well can change their appearance. My daughter loves "bling" and we have found jewel iron-ons and metallic ribbon at the local department store. These additions adhere well to the thicker fabric like denim. Studded pockets or hems have made my daughter's wardrobe the envy of her friends. "What, you bought them at ...? I didn't see any like that there."

I have also tried my hand at dyes to create unique denim and cotton t-shirt colors. Even tie dying articles of clothing can still be fun and stylish. I do recommend practicing with dyes in small amounts on old shirts or pants before committing to them. They will create huge messes or stains. However, the easiest way to find a distinctive look for my children is shopping online. I save time by shopping at home and the kids can help choose their own clothes if they want to. I also avoid searching the large chains as the clothes are the standard wear that we end up altering anyway. I've been able to find very unique clothes simply by using Google.
