Understanding The Savings With The Wise Guide

By: Sean Tan

A most common thing that a person wishing to visit New York hears is that the New York travel will make the trip more economical. But exactly how much saving, that is the problem. How does the savings equation work? To understand this, read on.

The New York City Pass, as you must already know, provides a lump sum package price for visiting and traveling in the city for a fixed number of days. Currently, they have 1, 2, 3 and 7 days packages available. Now, paying the lump sum price for those many days, you can visit any of the forty (approximately) attractions the pass is affiliated with. The savings work when you visit several places in a day, because if you were to visit them individually, you would send up spending much more.

The lowest price is the 1 day pass. For adults, this is priced at $69 and for children $49. Consider this; if you were to visit about three locations in that day with a gate fee of about $20 each, you are very well making a profit. But for one or two locations, that might not be possible.

The equation works much better if you get the 2 days package on the wise guide. This is priced at $99 and $79 for adults and children respectively. That means, visiting five places within these two days with a gate fee of about $20 each, you are making a very neat saving. And if you manage to visit three places each day, your saving is much healthier.

The savings can be very great with the 3 days pass, which normally costs $125 for adults and $105 for children. Visiting three places each day without the pass would have cost you $180, so the profit you make is very remarkable. And you can work out the equation yourself now for the 7 days pass which costs $165 for adults and $125 for children.

But there are other offers and discounts that you need to consider also. The most important of these are the savings on the New York hop on, hop off bus traveling. You can buy a 2 days bus package with the bus travel inclusive at $125 for adults and $95 for children. That is just about $26 more than the package without the hop on, hop off bus travel, and it works out economically, because visiting each place otherwise would be more expensive than that. Again here the packages turn out to be more saving when you buy the longer ones.

Other benefits are that you get discounts for shopping with the New York city at places like Bloomingdales and Macys and in various theaters and places of entertainment. When you add up all these benefits, you do find that you can really save a lot.
