Next up is the type of support usually provided with each. Psychotherapy probably provides the highest level of support of the three options, primarily due to the fact that you are working directly with a therapist. This mainly applies during session time however, as there may or may not be a charge associated for out of session hours support or phone calls. Online courses tend to have moderate support. Most offer support as a bonus, and is done either by email, phone, or both. Self help generally does not have or provide any type of support, as it is something you do on your own.

Therapy for panic attacks also involves effectiveness, which is the last topic . Psychotherapy is found to be moderately effective and can help significantly in the short term. Long term, it has a decent rate of keeping the panic attacks away, but there are a fair amount of cases where the attacks may return in the future.
