The layers are usually deposited one over the other as soon as the whole apparatus cools down to a lower temperature.

Naturally the hydrophobic silicone settles down smoothly over the silicon oxide layer as soon as it cools down. This is now removed from the chamber gently and allowed to cool and settle down. So the preparation of the glass with hydrophobic qualities is developed.
