The Most Essential Additional Components To Your Personal Blog Explained

Having the ability to connect with your followers and readers can also expand much further than social media and your blog. Email newsletters are not long dead, in fact, they are as powerful as ever, and really give a unique method for you to connect with your followers. As such, I highly recommend signing up with an Auto responder provider, and inserting an optin form on your blog so that your readers can stay in touch with you.

You will also want to make sure that your readers can be in touch with you if they need to. There are plenty of free plugins that will allow you to create a form on your blog, which is more than enough for the standard blogger. That said, there are also some more advanced solutions available that will allow you to divert people to different people for different questions. Many of these plugins however do come at a cost.

Last, and certainly not least, I recommend the use of an automatic backup plugin. What these plugins will do is quite simple - they copy WordPress blogs to a backup location, in case something bad happens. As much as many people will look at this as being a bit extreme, it happens. I speak from personal experience when I say that there is nothing worse than losing an entire blog in one hit.

Of course, there are many other options out there for blog customization, but these simple customizations will most definitely help you get a little bit of an edge with your blog, and connect more closely with your audience.
