The Interior State Of Affairs With Feng Shui

Classical Feng Shui establishes its roots in understanding the affects of chi-life force energy. By using a traditional Chinese compass known as a Luo-Pan, an energetic reading is taken and a natal chart is derived for a residence or business. All aspects of wealth, health and relationships are revealed from the buildings orientation, the occupants birth date and the occupants move-in date. This method is extremely accurate and is indicative of the quality and types of relationships present in the residence or business-such as the condition of romantic partnerships (marital strife, affairs, or marital harmony, etc.); the financial status for the occupants ( bankruptcy, money loss or money gain, etc.); the ability to maintain and keep healthy interpersonal relationships (friendships, business relationships and family relations); and the health and well-being of the occupants (ability to become or stay pregnant, health challenges or high-quality health, sleeplessness, etc). However, there are also other indicators in the home that, in general, will also accurately reveal the state of affairs present.

In Classical Feng Shui, there are telltale signs of energetic disharmony within the home. Without knowing the energetic reading or natal chart of the home or office, a lot of information can still be derived. The following features in a home or office are known to create discord:

In a home the kitchen and the fireplace should never be located in the center of the house. This indicates high blood pressure and heart problems.
Also, having a cook top on an island indicates high blood pressure or heart problems.
The bathroom and laundry room should never be located in the center of the house because this indicates kidney and blood related problems.
If a staircase is located in the center of the house, this indicates back, spine and joint problems.
Homes with split-levels (2-5), not a traditional two story home, indicate that the family is separated, thinking is confused and the life in general is disjointed.
If there are mirrors in the bedroom and you can see yourself when you sleep or are being intimate with your partner this can indicate fighting and bickering between mates and affairs.
If you have wall paper in the bedroom that is too loud or too bright, it will be difficult to get restful sleep. A more yin or calming environment is needed in the bedroom.
Sleeping under horizontal beams that are too close to a person causes problems with the meridian of the body that the beam is covering (i.e. if the beam is above your heart, this can indicate heart problems). Sleeping under vertical beams that cut between you and your partner can indicate difficulties with the relationship and could split you up.
A bed next to a window or exposed to too much light will often cause sleeplessness. It is best to use black-out drapes to ensure restfulness.
Stairs too close to the front door may affect the good luck of the occupants. The energy has nowhere to collect when entering the front door except for going up the stairs. Staircases should be at least 10 ft. away from the door.
Stairs that have open risers leak out beneficial chi. It is best to have enclosed stairs so that the chi can travel uniformly and give good luck to the occupants.
The Chinese believe that a spiral staircase pierces the earth from heaven, creating a corkscrew effect. Add light at the top of the staircase to send the energy back to heaven.
More than one set of stairs on the same floor is considered competing chi. They should be on opposite sides of the house.
It is important when working in a home or office to have your back supported by a wall. If your back is to a door it will be difficult to focus. Also, you may feel vulnerable, anxious and this will cause you to feel exhausted. If your back is to a window, you may feel unsupported. This may cause depletion of your own energy.
Having your back to a mirror or to water, like a fish tank, will cause you to feel unstable. In the workplace, this indicates lack of support by employees or co-workers.

Even if a professional Feng Shui assessment isnt rendered, there are many things that can be done to make it easier for people to thrive in all areas of health, money and relationships in their homes or business. Classical Feng Shui is about improving the quality of life for people. Through hundreds of years of research, fixed circumstances were discovered by the Chinese that, time after time, indicated the same type of imbalance regardless of the occupant. It is this powerful information that many of the social elite had access too, which was denied to the lower-class until Master Yang introduced it during the Tang Dynasty. Today, the social elite and mainstream capitalize on the benefits of Classical Feng Shui. Donald Trump, Steve Wynn, Bill Gates and Richard Branson are only a few of the many social elite that flourish on the benefits of Classical Feng Shui. Classical Feng Shui does not distinguish social classes it is merely a tool formulated to make life more harmonious and prosperous in all areas of health, wealth and relationships.
