Do you know what I am thinking about here? There are many valentine gift ideas going through my mind with Valentine's Day drawing upon. I still could not figure out a good idea for that until one day.
On that snowy day, the chilling winds kept sweeping across my face as if my face were being cut by many little sharp blades. Emily and I were walking on the way to visit my grandparents who live in a wood on a big mountain covered by snow.
They moved there since they got retired and believed that place could be the best one for them to spend the rest of their life. As the road was covered by snow, we could not drive up there. Therefore, Emily and I had to walk.
Squish kept going on with each step made by us. Suddenly, Emily could not stand the chillness anymore. She stopped and told me she could not feel her feet. She tried to sit down and leant against a trunk of a tree. As we were only in the middle of the road, I felt awful and did not what I should do about it. I could have tried to call my grandparents to come down and carry us up with their sleigh. Meanwhile, I stopped such an idea when a thought occurred to me that they are too old and can not move easily on such a cold day.
I kept staring at her with helpful ideas going in my mind. I thought everything would have been much better only if she wore a pair of
snow boots. However, a beautiful dream does not help me find a way out here. I took a deep breath and carried her through the rest of the journey until we got to their house. Even though I eventually made it, I still took several breaks on the way and really tried everything I could.
Entering the room, I told my grandparents the whole story that happened on the way. They both laughed. You are such a cute boy. You really should not forget about giving her a pair of snow boots on such a chilling day. I really appreciate your responsibility as a man. But you also sometimes need wit. Looking at them hugging each other again and again, I felt so sweet and inspired. As I turn around and faced Emily, I gave her a smile as if I were trying to tell her what my valentine gift idea will be.
