The Incredible Elephant Hypnotist Phantasm

So there I was, sitting in front of my TV, like any other Saturday night. Except this turned out unlike any Saturday night I'd ever experienced before. It has drastically changed the way I currently view reality. I dare say I shall never be the same. I hope you will believe my story, as it is absolutely true. Or so I thought. It all started when I was watching this safari show that involved a magician, a group of elephants, and a strange new form of hypnosis.

The guy who was training the elephants suddenly turned and faced the camera. He started speaking in these really strangely constructed sentences that sounded like English also didn't quite make a lot of sense. I started to feel really strange, and then I felt as if he was speaking directly at me. He even said my name a couple of times.

Then he clapped his hands together, and I was sitting in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by these juggling elephants. And they were all wearing my pajamas. I have no idea how this happened, but there I was. The magician came up to me and asked me if I knew what was happening, and I said I hadn't a clue. Next thing I knew, I was standing in the middle of my living room furniture, right there in the jungle.

And right when he started laughing, the elephants all got up on their hind legs and started dancing. And before I knew it, I was sitting on my couch, right there in the jungle. Only I didn't remember sitting down. I looked next to me, and right there on the couch was a silverback gorilla. Only he didn't look mean or anything, he looked as perplexed as I was. So naturally, I offered him a beer.

Then before I knew it, I was back in my living room, holding my empty beer can just as if it were a fishing pole. I almost choked, but then I realized there was nothing in the can, and nothing in my mouth. I wasn't sure if I would ever been sane again.

He explained that this had been an experimental kind of hypnosis. They were trying out a new form of reality TV, where through a combination of hypnosis, and special brainwaves delivered through the TV, you could take part in the action. I said no thanks, turned off my TV, and have been afraid to look at a TV ever since. So I suppose that is a net positive.
