The Increased Diversity Of Bikers

By:

It is more than apparent now a days more than ever that motorcycles aren't just for bearded degenerates anymore. My friend and neighbor the dentist down the street can confirm that statement. Especially when he rides across country to attend bike rally.

Is is wise therefore to widen the demographic of your products to bikers as well. Not all of them have a bank account only as lavish as their saddle bags. You'd be surprised to know that some of the bikers out there carry black printed credit cards. I think you know what that reference means.

So don't be afraid to start writing some motorcycle companies and asking them for permission to use their logos on your products. I'm pretty sure you'll find some new buyers in a totally new demographic that you did not even know existed. Now, that's a source of revenue that you didn't have on your budget projections for the fiscal year.

So whether your selling cracker baskets or bowling balls, there is no reason that you can't cash in on this advertising opportunity. And no reason to think that there aren't bikers out there that have an interest in your products or services and would like them to match and even emulate their free riding hobbies. Bring those two things together and they will bring you the money.

Remember that these people hold their bikes to a very high level of admiration and they know and polish every inch of them. Remember and respect their love for their hobby and how much they cherish their bikes. Because that is how you will get their business.

Permissions for the use of logos are fairly cheap and easy to come by, for now. But as the market goes up for motorcycles, as does the price for their logos. So it's best to get into a contract now and mark yourself as a preferred customer before the prices rise.

Oh, and by the way. I too have been bitten by the biking bug. And I can assure you that I am not a bearded degenerate.

So with the extra money you start bringing in by capitalizing on this new market, you might want to drop by the nearest bike dealer on your way home from the office. I guarantee you a wide and unexpected smile will spread across your own face as you picture yourself cruising the open road with the wind blowing through your rich auburn mane.

And don't worry, your wife will completely understand after she gets that unexpected bracelet you saw her gawking at last time you two passed by the jewelry store at the mall.

Just one piece of advice. Make sure the trip to the jewelry store comes well in advance to even peeking at bikes online. Trust me, I'm coming from experience on this one.
