The average wholesale price of 18 kinds of vegetables is essentially flat with the previous week. The price of wax gourd, garlic, and rape decreased 6.7%, 5.8% and 3.9% respectively. The price of white radish, tomatoes and green peppers increased 9.3%, 6.6% and 5.6% respectively. The price of little ribbon fish, large ribbon fish and large yellow croaker decreased by 1.2%, 0.9% and 0.8% respectively. The price of crusion, carp and small croaker increased 1.3%, 1.3% and 0.1% respectively.

According to the analyst of Productivity Promotion Center of agricultural products, the Yangtze River fishing ban will stop in the end of June. The sea water supply of fish products rebounded in the market. The average wholesale price of eight kinds of aquatic products will rise stably. Later, frozen seafood market is gradually increased. The consumer spending is now in the peak season. The price of aquatic products is expected to maintain the current price of small fluctuations.

Analysts of the industry say that changes in food prices directly affect the consumer spending. Its impact on the CPI is particularly significant. The state should further adjust the gap between urban and rural areas. In addition to the transfer of rural surplus labor, the direct means is increasing food prices appropriately.

Under the conditions of maintaining a moderate growth of the macro economy and industrial production stable, CPI will face a long period of time. In the long term the household food spending will show a growth trend. Analysts of the industry say that the average wholesale price of various kinds of agricultural products will rise stably in the next few months.
