The History Of The Chicago Cubs

If you are a fan of baseball, then you should know the Chicago Cubs. This is a team that is based in Chicago, Illinois and is a member of the Central Division of Major League Baseball's National League. There are two teams based in Chicago. One is the Chicago Cubs and the other is the Chicago White Sox. They are also one of the remaining members of the National League. The team is currently run by a family with its founder named Joe Ricketts. It was previously owned by companies Wrigley and the Chicago Tribune.

The Chicago Cubs is an old team that dates back in the 1870s. While it was professionally found in 1871, the team played its first game in the 1870s. Because of its long history, the team has been deemed as one of the oldest teams in North America and the oldest team in its city.

But despite its history and experience, it seems like the team has downgraded over time. They have not won a championship since 1908 which always leave fans wondering what happened to the team. Today, the Chicago Cubs are known as a butt of jokes. They always lose their fights and they have not won a championship for a century. People always see the cubs as losers. In fact, they always refer to them as 'The Lovable Losers' because people always love to talk about them despite their status. This is also the reason why the Cubs are known for their rumors. Because of the lack of positive expectations, their members, coaches and team handlers are always pointed out to have flaws. It seems like this team will always be lacking in terms of progress so a lot of rumors are formed about their play.

Some of the most notable Chicago Cubs rumors are that of its pitcher named Ryan Dempster. It cannot be avoided since he is the star of the loser team. He is always known for making excuses for his play and his lack of motivation to improve. Some fans are hopeful. They think that the team can still make it despite its suffering reputation. However, the team does not seem to be helping them. Their morale is too low. Even the coaches do not do their job of training the team's members. It is an ugly sight.

On the positive side, the Chicago Cubs still continues to survive. I admire how it managed to withstand all the rumors that are thrown against it and how the team still continued to play despite the circumstances that they are facing. They also play a major role when it comes to baseball conversation. While people love to make jokes about them, they are still a major source of entertainment. It is degrading, I know, but that is the only positive thing that I can say about them. So before the Chicago Cubs fans attack me, I want to state that this article is just based on facts. I am not here to simply put down the Cubs for they do entertain me. I am just here to state the facts about how they fare in the baseball industry.
