A raise is a poker tactic where the amount of bet is increased. The others should call the new amount of bet in order to stay in the game. When a player wants to discard his interest in the pot he opts for the fold. Such a player need not bet any further but the player cannot win the pot either.

But the modern game of jouer poker has a certain rules to be followed. In a game of five card stud five of a kind is a general winning rule. In a five of a kind there are four aces or four kings whichever is ranked high along with a wild card say a joker. Similarly four of a kind and three of a kind may also be adopted in order to win.
