Take a whale watching trip or dolphin spotting adventure; remember to look out for the tiny turtles swimming up to the boat.
There are some large shopping centres in the resort, however the best place for your bargains and souvenirs is the local market on a Saturday morning, here you'll find ceramics, lacework, leather goods, linens and embroidery, and its great fun trying your hand at bartering.
Costa Caleta's nightlife is very family orientated with karaoke bars, live shows and music nights. Many hotels offer evening entertainment as part of their packages, but there is only one nightclub in the area.
