To sign up for a distance learning program, you should meet the stipulated requirements of the particular institution offering it. You cant pursue an online masters program if you dont first have a degree. You also need to consider the quality of the materials of a distance program before you sign on.

Without the Internet distance learning would have remained extremely difficult and expensive. Many people today consider it both, but they have never had to deal with it back in the day when all correspondence was on phone, running up enormous bills; or when lecture notes had to be sent by post, taking never-ending days and weeks before delivery. With the Internet most of these problems are now a thing of the past.

Super fraudsters have been quick to see fresh opportunities presented by distance learning programs online. Because of increasing demand, a lot of people are desperate to study further, but lack the time to actually be in school.
