To ensure that you do this, always dry your feet thoroughly after bathing or showering, wear waterproof footwear in wet weather, and always wear absorbent cotton socks when working out or in situations in which your feet may be prone to sweating.
Finally, be aware of the ingredients in any lotions or other topical products that you may use on your feet. Steer clear of anything that has alcohol in any form as one of its primary ingredients. Alcohol is terribly drying when used anywhere on the body, and due to the delicate nature of the feet, its effects tend to be worsened.
