But in truth, the best way to reach level 85, is to just follow the right guide and learn from experienced players on how to do it. No do it for you power leveling service is going to do it for you (unless you enjoy getting banned/suspended/shelling out hundreds of dollars only to be hacked) and make you magically become level 85 in a few days. No... because the root of your problems is most likely that you're just doing the wrong quests!
Why did you ever get slowed down in the first place? Why is it so common for new and experienced players alike to take so long to level? Read below to find the answers to these questions and more to help you learn how to level fast in World of Warcraft!
The reason that slow leveling is so common is because of a convoluted leveling path that slows down players and keeps them from leveling in a timely and efficient manner. WoW is a game of questing until level 85. Right? And questing is all sorts of different types and paths and areas. Right?
Well, the questing path of most players involves quests that aren't so necessary to the questing experience, but leading us to believe that they are. This results in a non-linear sporadic questing path that slows down most players, resulting in slow leveling.
This tip for leveling faster in WoW is pretty self-explanatory, if you have a problem with just taking every quest you see and going in a random order completing them, then that could be a huge reason why you level so slowly, and why it's so inefficient. The more sporadic your questing, the farther you have to go to optimize your leveling experience.
Ok, so this tip is actually very simple:
1) Log into WoW and go to the area where you want to quest.
2) Grab all the quests in the area that you know of.
3) Look at your quests and note the location and distance for each quest from your current location. Look for quests that all go to the same location, and preferably choose quests that are nearer to you. Though this can be outweighed by having five quests in one area, despite them being far away, just as an example.
4) Quest in all the concentrated areas, and ignore the ones that are all single quests in one area and only do them if no other quests are available.
Can taking only the correct quests really level you faster? You bet it can! This may seem like something you think you already do, but read on, and I assure you that it may not be as simple as you think...
I remember getting stuck in the Barrens doing a quest that had me slowed down to a crawl. It was a quest to find raptor heads, and there were no raptors to be found anywhere! It had me banging my head against the keyboard in frustration, because it was driving me nuts. I just couldn't finish this quest! Well, that's when a friend of mine sat me down and told me to just abandon the quest and move on. He pointed out to me that if a quest isn't working out and there's seemingly no way for me to complete it right now, either complete it later and come back, or just never do it altogether.
I know it sounds a little noobish, but ask any experienced player and they'll probably tell you that they don't do every quest in an area, but actually skip quite a few!
After hearing this simple tip for months on end, I finally decided to give it a try, as supposedly, it helps you level faster. All it requires is that you don't take, or abandon quests that are most likely going to kill you. This will make your life a lot simpler, quicken your leveling, and make your wallet a little happier from repair bill saves.
Make sure that if a quest is orange or red, and even some yellow quests, you should avoid them until later. These quests will most likely kill you if you even try. Yeah, it may seem like a great idea to take these quests on because they give more experience and better rewards, but the advantage to doing green quests and lower end yellow quests is that they are a ton easier, you can do a lot more of them in a shorter span of time, and it's just less hassle and less stressful.
I believe there just aren't enough helpful players out there to get these quests done and help you level faster. See, that's the thing, everyone has such a different diverse questing experience. Rarely are two quest paths the same. But this tip can fit into any questing path, because everyone has most likely tried this at one point to level faster.
Well, tell me this... do you often take quests that are labeled (group) or elite quests, because you know the rewards are greater? If you do, then read on... and if not, well read on anyway.
For my questing experience, I learned very quickly that sometimes wanting a great reward can hinder my progress. Sure, those group quests can give you amazing items, but at what cost? Sometimes you can spend hours on end looking for someone to group with, just so you can have that pretty blue item. Now, this is well and good when looking for raids, but you can see how much it can slow down your questing experience just to work for a quest that won't even give you that much experience in the end.
