Bathory continued to make Viking metal, but started to incorporate Folk metal instruments. This is probably one of Bathory's strongest abums recorded.

The style of Viking metal is often a reference for pagan culture. Viking metal bands usually are formed in northern Europe. Countries in northern Europe have most Viking metal bands. Most Viking metal bands have some sort of Black metal experience. Music is often epic, dramatic and mythological. Listening to Viking metal will give you a full dose of Viking Traditional Folk metal.
