The Art Of Choosing Right Favors

I have recently been to a baby shower and they had some wonderful things. Everything was pink, of course, and looked really pretty. On the table she had bunches of pink roses and pink napkins with a pink and white polka dot table cloth and pink glasses. Then she had white china with a lovely pink and white cake. What made it really pretty and special were the baby shower favors that she had. They were really pretty little pink bags. They looked really delicate and very pretty and frilly. Inside was a lovely treat for everyone. There were a selection of childish sweets.

Things like jelly babies, dolly mixture, chocolate mice and jelly tots. It was lovely to not only have a lovely gift but to have something so very pretty making the table look lovely. I had never really thought about doing baby favors but they were such a lovely idea. It was great to have a gift to take home with us, almost like going to a children's party and having a gift bag but only much better! Somehow it just made everything a bit more special. Everyone noticed how pretty they were and commented on them and everyone was thrilled with being able to take their baby shower favor home with them and loved the sweets that were inside. It was lovely seeing such a small thing receive so much attention and give so much pleasure. It is making me think about using favors more often because so many people appreciated the baby shower favor.

I am thinking that I might like to do them for dinner parties that I have maybe make some sweets for people and give them to them in pretty bags or put other little gifts inside like little soaps or jewellery. I will be able to have such fun buying little gifts for people, it will be great! I think especially at Christmas when I can use them instead of crackers to make my table look really pretty and maybe give away a Christmas candle or even a special Christmas tree bauble. It would be nice to give away a different bauble each year so that people can add them to their special decorations. I know quite a few people who do not have many decorations as they do not have much money and so it will be nice to help them build up their collection of decorations.
