The Antichrist Hoax!

The Antichrist Hoax!

WHAT THE ANTICHRIST IS NOT
The vast majority of Christians do not believe it is a hoax. There is a sense of satisfaction in thinking everyone else will suffer 7-years of Tribulation and that properly interpreting Bible prophecy is exclusive to your group alone. But anyone with half-a-brain can look the word up and see how many times it appears in the Bible. What? I said the character (i.e. future satanic ruler of the world) is not in the Book of Revelations. But the actual word appears four times in four verses in the epistles of 1st and 2nd John. Those who blindly believe are not aware of the following verses:

1John 2:18
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that anti-christ shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Contrary to popular belief, some fiction writers distort 1John 2:18 which says, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that anti-christ shall come ...into their own version which says, In the last days the Antichrist shall come. The biblical text is referring to a state-of-mind confirming this position with, "there are many antichrists!" The distorted version is referring to a fictitious person.

1John 2:22
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-christ that denieth the Father and the Son.

In the text of 1John 2:22 further defines the state-of-mind described as antichrist. Ergo, an anti-christ (not, The Antichrist) is anyone who does not believe in basic Christian doctrine. These days that could be a Muslim or an Atheist!

1John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and is that [spirit] of anti-christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

In the text of 1John 4:3 elaborates on a different state-of-mind. At the time these epistles were written, there were those who believed the entire Jesus (the Christ) hooplah was complete fiction. They did not believe there was ever an actual person who went by the name, Jesus, who did all the things early Christianity, claimed. Anyone who did not blindly believe the Gospel was deemed, an anti-christ. And as the verse concludes; EVEN NOW (about 100 CE[AD] when the text was being written) anti-christ is already in the world.

2John 1:7
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an anti-christ.

The text of 2John 1:7 repeats the previous verse - DECEIVERS claim all this Jesus business is complete fiction. And be sure you call those deceivers an anti-christ! So as you can plainly see, as far as the Bible is concerned, anyone who refuses to take the Gospel at face-value and blindly follow Jesus (e.g. because they think its all fiction), they are anti-christs a term we came up with to replace deceivers.

CHRISTIANPHOBIA
Those who control information decided; it was not a good idea to focus on biblical text that suggested: Once upon a time a lot of people believed Jesus was complete fiction! After all, like today no one ever laid eyes on him. That included the guy writing all the epistles; the Apostle Paul. The Book of Revelations was one of the New Testament works he did not write.

The crux of the Apostle Pauls story (at least the beginning) is recorded in Acts 9. As the story goes, Paul (whose name was Saul) was a Pharisee who made his living hunting Christians and proving their belief system a hoax! Yes. Once upon a time, Christians had a major tribulation period; they were persecuted. And it had nothing to do with an Old Testament prophecy of any kind. In Greece and Rome, it was simply illegal to be a Christian! Those who were; were tracked down and killed! And the leader of the Roman Empire (the Caesar) was THE ANTICHRIST! Or at least, the Beast talked about in the Book of Revelations.

One day as the Pharisee Saul and his band of thugs journeyed from Jerusalem to Damascus, he was blind-sided by Jesus. Yep! The man saw a blinding light and was knocked from his horse (assuming he was not traveling on foot). Then Jesus (a voice from heaven) convinced him to stop persecuting Christians and become one of them. The man mustve had some mad skills if Jesus personally wanted to recruit him.

Simply put, the word "antichrist" is a simple compound word comprised of: anti + christ. And the definition is just as simple: any person who does not believe in Jesus or Christianity. They are technically anti-Christianity. Just like some Christians are anti-Abortion, anti-African-American President and anti-Gay.

WHERE DOES THE ANTICHRIST COME FROM?
Revelations 13 introduces a biblical character called, the Beast ... not the Antichrist. Fiction writers gave the Beast a makeover and renamed him. The Antichrist was more catchy and marketable! All hoax aside, let me continue by saying no one understands the Book of Revelations! It might as well had been called, the Book of Gibberish! But that does not prevent fiction writers from extracting certain verses and building complete fiction around them.

The most popular fiction involves the prophecy of the mark of the Beast during the alleged Tribulation. Long story short, everyone on the planet earth will one day be required to receive the mark of the Beast either in their forehead or right-hand. Granted, chapter 13, verses 16-17 might give that impression but that is not what the text says:

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right-hand or foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Now, the Book of Revelations is full of encrypted text from beginning to end. Take for example chapter 13, verse 2:

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Is there no wonder no one ever tries to make heads or tails out of this text? Its easier to manipulate the text of verses 16-17 which, unlike the majority of the book, are suspiciously crystal clear. At least after the fiction writers (Hollywood) build a story all around it! And they merely speculate and assume this Beast business did not already happen. Technically, it has! Since the text was written, every generation associated it with some event(s) or person(s) during said generation. Our generation is no different!
