The premise behind Hofmeklers program appears to be his notion that people are gaining weight because of high levels of estrogen brought on by our eating habits. Thus, his book focuses primarily on changing readers nutrition plans.

Hofmekler does not just target unwanted weight in his book and program. Rather, he claims that lowering estrogen levels will increase users energy, improve their sexual virility, lower their stress levels, and decrease the symptoms of females responses to PMS and menopause (just to name a few things). The program appears to be basically a nutrition plan. Some accounts indicate that Hofmeklers program is largely a vegetable and legume-focused plan with users cutting back considerably on meats. While he does prescribe exercise he does not seem to recognize the benefits of using a supplement which can increase users ability to burn fat while slowing their appetites. All in all, it may be difficult to find research which supports Hofmeklers connection between foods, estrogen, and weight gain/loss.

Final Thoughts

There are certain things about the Anti-Estrogenic Diet that no one can argue with. Surely, dieters have to find ways to eat more healthily and to exercise on a daily basis. In these respects, Ori Hofmekler probably provides some decent advice. However, the crux of this authors argument is an idea that may not be completely founded upon evidence and research. In this regard it is difficult to say that the Anti-Estrogenic Diet is a sure-fire approach to making weight loss a reality. Some dieters have found that they can maximize the efforts of their exercise and healthy eating habits by utilizing a weight loss supplement which contains ingredients shown to hold back cravings and increase fat burning potential. Lastly, make sure that you are also drinking lots of water to keep your body hydrated and free from toxins.
