The Ancient Act Of Focusing And Relaxation, Of The Body, Mind, And Spirit.

By:

The ancient act of focusing and relaxation, of the

body, mind, and spirit, has been around for so long

and its practiced in so many forms, by so many

people, it probably means something a little different

to each one of us.

For some, meditation is a part of a strict religious

retime. For others it is a cultural and family

tradition, passed down for many generations. For those

that study the workings of the human mind, researchers

and physicians it is a whole new universe, to explore.

However, for most of us it is a fairly new and exotic

way for us to explore our spirituality.

To learn to meditate and reap the many rewards is

very simple and very natural. First, just relax; this

can be done in any number of ways. You will need a

calm and quite place, and just your mind, to carry you

into the world of meditation. This is not easy,

especially if you home is chaotic. It is also not an

easy thing to relax at work. But this can be

accomplished. Just clear your mind and let the

positive energy flow into your mind.

Focus on your whole body and breath in deeply, hold

your breath for several seconds and gently let your

breath escape, all the while focusing on you pure and

gentle thoughts. Do not rush this process and do not

let your mind wander from its pure intention. Above

all remember, meditation as life, is a journey, not a

situation. As you enter the meditative state, do not

expect to find all the answers to all your questions

in a short time. It takes many souls a good long time

to attain focused thought.

Meditation is a tool that enables you to better use

your own mental and spiritual resources. Within each

of us is the ability to cope with our everyday

troubles and foe find solutions to those pressing

problems. It is a wonderful de-stressing device. I

am a firm believer in the meditative process. Every

night before I retire to bed I clear my mind and

consecrate on the things that I wish to solve, or at

least work on in my sleep. Make the last thought

before you fall asleep a positive and beautiful one.

You will awaken in the morning a new and more

connected person. Connected to your own mind and your

own thoughts, ready to start the day on a very

positive manner. You may even want to repeat this

process every night. The more one meditates the more

in tune one becomes with their own awakening. The

keys to our future lie within all our minds, we each

have the capacity to unlock great secrets and to

secure our path in destiny.

Meditation may just be a tool that we all use

when we are looking for help and comfort. It is so

natural to look inward for our answers, that sometimes

we forget that the power we desire is really within

ourselves. Just think what should be accomplished if

everyone meditated every day at the same time, what

power that would unleash.

Let your journey be calm and peaceful and let the

flow of positive energy rush over you and start you

own meditation ritual. I believe meditation can help

anyone realize their potential and unlock such great

ideas; its amazing to me that more people do not tune

in to their own brain. The world would be a better

place if everyone just meditated regularly, Confusion

would be at a minimum. For when you know your own

thoughts you are able to act in a more thoughtful

manner. You give more to others and yourself. Peace

and Happiness to every one of you and happy

meditating.
