Almost all smokers across the nation have this problem, smoking in the house. To smokers there is nothing more enjoyable than getting off work and coming home to relax and having a few smokes. But they do not want to hear someone tell them that they can not smoke in their own home, because smoking inside the home is just normal to most all smokers. But in most cases smokers really do not pay much attention to the real dangers of smoking inside their home. But if these smokers knew all the ways that it affects the home and especially others who live there, they might just decide to step outside and light up instead.

With many years of lighting up inside the home, there comes a little problem. Known as cigarette tar and nicotine build up, this is like a greasy substance from having cooked some burgers or something like that on the stove. There is a little difference between the tar and the grease though, the tar and nicotine is like grease mixed with glue and that is absolutely on everything that is inside the home. You are probably thinking you do not see anything like that in your home. Then take a little test and see what there really is inside your home after years of smoking.

One of the first and easiest places to look is on top of something in the home that is at a high level that would not be something that you would normally clean on a weekly basis. Maybe like the top of the refrigerator or along the top edge of the baseboards in your home. This is where you will find the evidence of years of smoking in a home. But those are not the only places you will find this tar build up, because after seeing what you just witnessed on the baseboards and refrigerator, it will make you want to see the further damage that you really did not even know was there.

This has surprised millions of people after they have carefully inspected their home. The fact that long term smoking in their home could cause so much damage to everything from the paint on the walls to signs of this nasty tar inside of a closest. The truth is that it will totally smoke damage the inside of your home. The damage that might really make you sick is if you could see what smoking around your children inside the home has done to their lungs as well as yours. So the next time you decide to light up, maybe that thought will make you decide to do it outside or finally quit.
