All of you please fasten your seatbelts if you are in a theatre to watch the movie The Adventures Of Tintin, because this film will take you back to your childhood and make you recall all those mischievous things you had done. So drop in and enjoy the exciting history of Tintin's universe, along with its spectacular animation.

Great response from the audience wiped out analysts worries about the success of this 3D film, despite the fact that Tintin comics never had much appeal in the United States. In its opening release, the movie recorded an all time high box-office collection, when compared to other animated pictures.

This is director Steven Spielbergs first film and his dedication towards the work helped to give life to Tintins creator Herge's characters in an original manner. Herge is the pen name of Belgian writer Georges Rmi. And the animated film is based on Herge's comic books namely The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham's Treasure. A few months before his death in 1983, Herg reportedly said that, If anyone can bring Tintin successfully to the screen, it is this young American film director (Spielberg)..."

In The Adventures Of Tintin, comic character Tintin is a young Belgium journalist. The adventure begins after Tintin buys a sailing ship, a model of legendary sailing vessel called the Unicorn, for a pound from a flea market. Soon he realizes that the unicorn model is a path to mystery - the secret of the hidden treasure. But his knowledge about that path is inadequate. He learns the story of battle at sea and sets out for an adventure along with the captain of Unicorn, Archibald Haddock, to find the gold that is supposed to be buried in the oceans.

Another man named Ivanovich Sakharine is also on the lookout for gold and he wont allow Tintin and group to find the treasure before him. Tintin's four-legged buddy Snowy, a white fox terrier, also accompany them in the journey. Sometimes we can feel the deep bond between Tintin and Snowy when they save each other from many death-defying situations. In the treasure hunt, the crew lead by Tintin faces lots of troubles in the evil waters.
After going through lots of adventurous situations, Tintin discovers a part of treasure map hidden inside the ship. They follow it and towards the end of the movie Tintin, his comrade, Snowy, and Captain Haddock reach their destination by giving an indication that a lot more treasure is there deep in the ocean.

While Jamie Bell played the role of Tintin with ease, villain character of Daniel Craig stands out on its level of perfection. Those characters who got great affection from kids were Andy Serkis as captain of the ship and Snowy, Tintin's friend.

While we can catch the videos, trailers and reviews of the film from the web, watching the movie in big screens will give better clarity and pleasure. I booked my tickets for this movie from my home PC, which I recently linked to one of the service providers in my area, Verizon FiOS Internet.

The characters in Spielbergs movie look unbelievably natural though they have some exaggerated features. This allows the movie to have a stronger connection to the original comic book story, without giving down the unique aesthetic affect. Bolstered by a strong screenplay and great direction, the movie has definitely conquered peoples heart. By taking people into the world of fantasies, fairy tales and make-believe expeditions, The Adventures of Tintin became one of the most entertaining movies of the year. Since this is the primary set of Tintin comics, we might have to wait for more films like this from Spielberg.
