Women should be very careful with their pregnancy. If they are expecting, they should know it as early as possible.

Knowing the early signs of pregnancy is very important, especially to women who have vices. Once pregnant, women must muster all the courage to drop their vices for the meantime, like smoking or drinking, for the baby inside to grow healthy.

Even without vices, every woman should still take care of themselves more when conceiving. What they do and how they live affect the development of the baby also.

Pregnancy is a very crucial stage. This concerns the health of the mother and the baby. If the mother is healthy and takes the right diet and vitamins while pregnant, the baby stays healthy also.

A pregnant woman needs to exercise precautions throughout. But she will not be able to do so if she is unaware of her pregnancy. Therefore it is very important to learn the first ten signs of pregnancy so that women, and the loved ones around her, will be guided accordingly.

First is light spotting. When a woman is pregnant, she undergoes light spotting in her vagina, turning pinkish or brownish. This is the result of bleeding from implantation. It is often mistaken as an onslaught of menstruation.

Second, a woman experiences more frequent. This usually happens within 7 to 12 days after the ovulation. The changes in the body hormones are produced by the implantation of the embryo. The hormone responsible for this is the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).

Third, a woman feels feverish because of higher body temperature in her body. It happens during ovulation. It will remain so for practically the duration of the pregnancy.

Fourth, and this is the most unmistakable sign, is missed periods. Once an egg is fertilized and develops, a woman will not menstruate for the next nine months. For those with irregular menstrual cycles, it may be harder to suspect pregnancy. But getting a pregnancy kit will help to confirm a suspicion especially if a woman is active in sex.

Fifth, most pregnant woman experience body fatigue. The mother usually lacks energy because the baby is also using up the energy of the mother. This causes fatigue and a feeling of being more tired than usual. Fatigue is also caused by changing hormones. It easily goes away once a body starts to stabilize.

Sixth symptom is cramping. Since the uterus of a pregnant woman contract more often and regularly, she would experience uterus cramping more often.

Seventh is nausea. Nausea is one of the morning sickness that pregnant women experience. This happens any time of the day. If not nausea, the eighth symptom is frequent vomiting. This is also due to the changing hormones in the body.

Ninth, pregnant women also begin to have tender nipples and breasts. But pregnant mothers need not worry because this eventually goes away when their body had already adapted to their new hormone levels. The areolas may turn darker.

And tenth, a mother to be may experience constipation. The bowels movements are affected early on when changes happen in the uterus. This is because the intestine is located close to the uterus.

If you are feeling any of these ten early signs, and you are suspecting pregnancy, it is always best to consult your doctor.
