The
Tell Me More Spanish software program has been designed to start students out with the most basic language content in order for these students to build a strong foundation that will allow them to progress upwards with confidence to more advanced content.
Naturally, Level 1 teaches the basics, Level 10, the most advanced. If a student studies through Levels 1 and 2, they will gain knowledge for brief conversations, of the most basic sort, and limited literacy (learning Spanish information that would put you on par with international tourism Spanish speakers). As the student progresses through Levels 1-5, the student will become equipped for conversational fluency and literacy (every day conversations that are lengthier, but with a more functional literacy).
Level 3 will prepare you to deal with a variety of ordinary situations that require a short, simple, and direct exchange of information about familiar, standard topics. The topics that you will learn about in level 3 include topics that are related to you and your family, shopping, your surroundings, your work environment, and hobbies. At the end of studying this level you should be able to pick up on the main ideas in the conversations you hear and begin to have a firm grasp on simple vocabulary.
Level 4 builds upon Level 3 by teaching how to describe your immediate environment in more detail. It will teach you how to talk about your tastes, preferences, hobbies, how to make appointments, ask for help, and how to send out invitations in Spanish, in much more detail than the content you learned in level 3. This teaching method is repetitive to make sure you completely understand what you previously studied.
Level 5 will teach you everything you need to know to have a good intermediate level of understanding in the Spanish language. You are not going to become fluent by going through the first five levels and stopping there. You need to complete all 10 levels, especially, if you want to advance your understanding of the language to fluency heights. If you stop at Level 5 you will have a firm grasp on topics that relate to your personal relevance and in understanding the main points of Spanish conversations but you will not be able to communicate as fluent Spanish speaker. In addition, you should be able to speak about the past and present by using simple sentences in Spanish. The Tell Me More Spanish software arrives on a CD that contains all 10 levels of the
Tell Me More Spanish course. If you ordered the package for the first two levels you will be given an access code that allows you to access those levels. The same principle applies to the 5 level and 10 level packages.
