Television Will Make You Fat

By:

Undoubtedly, watching TV can make anyone fat. And the sedentary nature of the activity is not the only reason, the more deadly insinuation, is that the information most commercials offer, is purposely confusing.

That there is confusion about healthy eating is no surprise. Of course then, the reason why obesity, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes effect a larger percentage of people here and in other nations, is no surpreise either.

After I was done hyperventilating, from the allergic reaction to bogus information, I decided to first turn the TV off (because my heart just couldnt take anymore) and then write this newsletter to clear up a few misconceptions.

According to their advertising, the best thing Cheerios is supposed to do is to help you reduce cholesterol.

1. I am here to tell you that eating processed grains, especially in the form of cereal can actually make your cholesterol go up! Cholesterol studies have demonstrated, to this point, that soluable fiber can help your system eliminate bad cholesterol from itself. Cheerios does in fact, have 1 gram of soluable fiber per serving. Woop-dee-doo. Not so Special. I am not impressed, when there are 2 grams in an apple, 3 grams in a portion of broccoli or carrots and a whopping 4 grams in a serving of Kidney beans. (Beat that Cheerio Man).

2. Milk does a Body Bad. Granted that is only partially true. Conventional homogenized whole milk is the actual culprit. Ir you will read the Dairy chapter in "The Diet Solution Program" you will understand that organic Milk is preferred, and Raw milk is even better. If you have failed to read that article, now would be a good time to correct that situation.

3. Give Splenda to my children? Not in this decade! In particular, Splenda hasn't been around long enough to demonstrate that it is safe or not. I advise you to extricate both your children and yourself from the subset of the American population, who are part of the Splenda experiment. My advice? stay with the natural sweeteners, whole fruits, stevia and agave syrup, and avoid the artificial compounds like Splenda, Sweet $ Low and Equal.

I can give you plenty more scenarios, based on other commercials. Watching enough TV (or even purchasing cable) I would be able to point out 10, 20, 100 more commercials providing misleading informatoin, just to make sales.

Now, go shut the TV off and read the Real Truth about Healthy Eating and Weight Loss and get started on your own fat loss and health goals right away, by visiting EliKen Marketing, at http://dietsolutionreview.us/watching-tv-can-make-you-fat/.
