Tea, Coffee And Snacks At Cuppa Stop

What you see - Cuppa Stop on 2nd cross of 80 feet Road in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore is eye-catching with its bright red, big signboard and bold letters in white. You see an alfresco seating area outside this cafeteria and an air-conditioned seating space inside behind the glass panes. Cuppa Stop can accommodate 30-40 people at a time. We chose to sit inside as it can get noisy from the main roads traffic outdoors. Plus the numbers that the cafeteria plays inside are quite soothing. On a pleasant weekend, you could sit outside though.

What you get - Cuppa Stop is a chain of cafeterias in Bangalore offering beverages like coffee, tea, shakes, smoothies, mocktails and lattes along with snacks like sandwiches, burgers, rolls, puffs, samosas, nachos, pizzas and the like. The Jalapeno Nachos, served hot and crispy, are a must-try.

Theres a wide range of local and international blends of coffee and tea listed on the menu. These mainly include Darjeeling tea (green and organic), Assam tea, Nilgiri tea, Chinese green tea, Sri Lankan tea, South African rooibos tea (prepared without milk with a slice of lemon and sugar or honey for sweetening) and South African honey bush tea (little sweeter than rooibos tea). You can also get your regular masala chai here. Regional flavors like Mumbai-style cutting chai, Moroccan mint tea and Malaysian Teh Tarik (the regular tea of Malaysia, served chilled) are also available. Those who prefer coffee, can pick from regular ones like mocha, espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc. apart from international blends of Ethiopian and Costa Rican coffees. Other interesting beverage options include iced tea and coffee in flavors of chocolate, caramel, litchi, peach, lemon, watermelon, kiwi and so on. Cuppa Stop serves a few mocktails as well in flavors like watermelon, blueberry, orange and raspberry.

Cuppa Stop also offers a delicious range of desserts like chocolate muffins (must-have), fruit tarts, doughnuts, pastries and chocolate cakes.

Our verdict Perfect for a quick bite. MetroMela liked the menu of Cuppa Stop in Bangalore in terms of the blend of regional and international flavors. The selection of both hot and cold beverages is also very balanced and the menu has sufficient dishes to appeal to different taste buds. Attendants take less than 10 minutes to serve and are very warm. The ambience at Cuppa Stop is also refreshing and apt for hangouts with friends or colleagues. No dedicated parking space here. People tend to park along the roadside.
