Tap water might not be good for you because of all the things that tests have found in just plain tap water. The professionals have found chemicals in the water among other things. If you have tap water, you might want to have it tested because there can be dangerous things in it that can affect your body. These affects can be very bad for your health and it can do damage to it as well. There are many things that that can be in tap water like beauty products, medicines, chlorine, cleaning supplies, and other chemicals with a variety of uses. You do not want to drink any of these things.

This is why you have to have filters in your house on everything that has water going out of it, so these things will not come into your house or get in your body. You might need filters on the faucets or you could choose to have a whole house water filtration system. These filters will get what the water treatment facility did not get. You have to make sure you change them filters frequently and on time because they can fill with toxins from the water. Be sure to read what type of filter you get and what it filters out. There is a difference and some bargain filters fail to do a proper job.

If your water tests positive for harmful chemicals, a group of professionals will need to go in and clean your water system to prepare it for filtration. If you smell chlorine or if the water looks funny to you, then you need to call the water company and get them out to your house to check the water. If it is ful of chemicals then it might not be a good idea to drink it because there can be something wrong and it can hurt you. If the water looks funny in general, do not drink it. The best thing to do is to have the water tested before you drink it, wash with it, or clean with it.
