Symptoms of anxiety disorder can be a stressful ordeal to manage as it is already. The symptoms often help to invoke extra unnecessary fear and panic. This happens in the form of an anxiety or panic attack. Let us first talk about some of these symptoms.
Shortness of breath is often a sign, and it can quickly lead to other signs such as feeling light headed or feinting. The heart rate often starts racing much faster than normal, and this tends to help bring about the waves of sheer panic and fear. Other common signs can include feelings of dread, sweating, and feeling detached from reality or going out of control.
It can be quite overwhelming to experience. When these attacks happen, they often leave a strong impression upon us, which can cause us to develop a fear of having future attacks such as it. The overall situation and things that happen regarding these symptoms of anxiety disorder may also cause other thoughts of worry. Can these symptoms and attacks harm us?
The good news is that generally they do not harm us. This is not to say of course, that we may not do something during a panic attack that could in turn cause us harm. This is simply a possibility, but the symptoms themselves usually would not.
Now, why do I use the word usually? Nothing is set in stone, and anything is possible. The attacks themselves can possibly be linked to creating future problems. Although, the findings on this are not substantial, and they suggest that the odds of this are fairly small based on current information.
